Not sure if want to do 90 days in moroco but I wouldn't mind going for a few weeks at least
I'd looked to see if there were ferries from there to canaries but doesn't seem to be anything at the minute which is a shame as it's practically opposite.
Will likely be the end of March by the time im hitting gib or thinking about morroco as I want to see as much of Spain as I canin winter morocco is better than canaries as the islands shelter the agadir area from the winds .
north and south morocco can be very windy . and rainy but agadir area is quite nice .

morocco is best dec ,jan feb. november can be wet, march can be ery windy and sand storms .Will likely be the end of March by the time im hitting gib or thinking about morroco as I want to see as much of Spain as I can
I was always planning to return Santander to Portsmouth again but as I've nothing set in stone I guess at the end if need be I can just leave Portugal and drive straight in to FranceI’ve just put a 12 month calendar app on my phone on which I record the days spent in the various countries to make it easy to see how many days I have left legally in a particular country - it’s easy then to see how the rolling 12 month period works as @Minxy Girl kindly explained earlier in the thread

If I enter Spain 13th Jan and leave end of March that's only 75 days then do moroco for a few weeks then canaries for 90 days that gives me a couple of weeks to play with
Sort of
Jees it's no easy lol
To be honest after canaries and Spain..zante would be my next choice to relocate
Property is cheap there I viewed some houses when I was there in may ...but they still get rotten winters and I'm a sun lover hence wanting to relocate somewhere it's sunny all year round
Gran canaria being my no 1 choice but it depends entirely on finding work there
Alicante area I think is my second choice but not been there only seen it on telly so will reserve judgement till I've been
So if anyone knows of any jobs going lol
Yes mot done today but it was done 1 month early so it expires 27th Jan 19Don’t forget also that you have to ensure you haven’t taken your Motorhome out of the U.K. over 12 months or It will be classified as exported - also you should plan to leave the U.K. immediately after you get your Mot done as an expired one during your travels will as explained earlier make it illegal in Spain and other EU countries and anywhere as far as I am aware.
I think so too ....i certainly love the canaries and the people.I think you will love Spain,,BUSBY
It's very confusing
If I manage to get a job there which I believe means I need residency to do that then how does that affect me with my motorhome as it will be foreign register

I plan to be back in Scotland for Christmas next year so that will be the latest.
If I should find full time work out there I may have to bring it back earlier and fly back out there.
Yes but there's unemployment here in the UK too , I've always managed to find work so I'm hoping I can do the same over there but I won't know till I try.One point about work, well two, you do know there is an unemployment problem here in Spain, perhaps you do, point two, you do Speak Spanish.....
jumar said:point two, you do Speak Spanish.....
As the (Spanish) guy on a campsite at Valencia said "they come over here, and after 10 years they can say: "dos cervezas, por favor" ... and that's it.

Si yo appriendo hablar espanol...pero mi no fluente

Que es si pregunta?Que ?
Lol I've been doing highschool classes since the start of February and have a cd learning kit too plus duolingo on my phonesí, ibet tu usando google translate como tengo que hacerlo con mi novia española jajaja
Nothing like having a go the ones who only can order the beers sit with their expat mates all day and don't make the effort.Lol I've been doing highschool classes since the start of February and have a cd learning kit too plus duolingo on my phone
I'm learning but I won't say it's easy ...i can say things but understanding it when someone speaks back is often difficult as it's a very fast language
I'm hoping once I'm over there and using it more that it will become easier
See that's what I don't want....yes it will be nice to meet fellow brits but I want to try and integrate in to the Spanish community I've no desire to always be thought of as a touristNothing like having a go the ones who only can order the beers sit with their expat mates all day and don't make the effort.
That's not quite true. I am a resident now, and my Spanish accountant says I have to do a UK tax return in early 2018. They aren't too bothered as long as you are paying tax somewhere.Just don't go over the 183 days or you will be liable for the Spanish equivalent of income tax.
Que es si pregunta?
Yer confusing me lol ....im no any SpanishWhat......como, I is only alf Spanish.....

Bar owners don't care if you are spending money. As the (Spanish) guy on a campsite at Valencia said "they come over here, and after 10 years they can say: "dos cervezas, por favor" ... and that's it.
My accountant is top notch and with all due respect, probably knows more about it than you. I have no Spanish income to pay tax on.Change your accountant, he does not know what he is talking about. If you earn money in Spain, you pay taxes in Spain on those earnings. If you earn money in the UK, you pay UK taxes on them separately. You do NOT pay UK taxes on moneys earned outside the UK.
