Norden Farm Campsite Offer, Corfe Castle, Dorset 10-14 May 2021 * Discount ended now *

Ukes packed, Julio’s Keep Fit video packed, Cheese packed, Taran_Las - bet you can’t wait for me to get there .....

It's today - out again after a long winter! On arrival at Norden from midday stop at the shop to check in - someone should be there so no need to get out. If arriving late in the day you may be asked to go into the shop instead - please wear a mask & use the alcohol gel outside the door. You will be given a vehicle tag to display & a site map with your pitch number & told the route - Main Field then Pond Field signs to follow for most. If anyone wants a Fun window sign, window or bumper sticker then let us know when we say hi - will pop them on your step or other spot rather than hand over to keep a distance as some of us aren't double jabbed yet!

Sun in the valley here today

Struggling with intermittent internet & didn't manage to say hello to everyone today but lovely to see so many Funsters back in the field again :hi5:

Hello from Steve and Shirl on M38 in the outcast field.

Hello from Steve and Shirl on M38 in the outcast field.
Hi - good you managed to get in when booking late - having posted on here sure you will get some Funsters popping by to say hello & many friendly chats possible if you come for wander around the two parts of Pond Field. It helps if you have a Fun flag, sign or stickers - we have a few of the latter so can pop over later with some if you haven't already got some?

A few pics from Corfe Castle above. I am 6ft 1in tall and that door is only about 5ft tall! The green steam loco is “Eddystone” a Pacific class built in 1946 and just back a fortnight ago from a £350k renovation with part of the work carried out in Buckfastleigh, Devon.

URGENT - has anyone seen a pink shopping bag? It has been lost somewhere on the campsite today. Please post here or let us know if you have seen it.

It's lovely to see some of the photos both here & on phones - lots of big fish too so some happy fishermen! (y)
We hope to see you all again next year (if not before) - will be starting a new thread if/when we get the go ahead from the campsite & will alert everyone as so many of you have said you are keen to come back again next year :)

There was a bigger one that got away....honest!
Probably about 6-7lb and given time I would have had more.
Where’s my unhooking mat? Didn’t realise it had blown out of reach so made the best of a bad job.

What a fantastic few days, the weather could have been better but, spirits were not dampened. A big thank you for the hard work that went into the organising the even. Marian and I look forward to attending again next year.

Thanks to Karen and Alan for organising this one.

The weather could have been better, but it didn’t stop carolyn and I from spending our daily half hour with Julio, followed by cycle rides to Wareham and a walk to Swanage (with an extra 3 mile detour by Cliff - who refuses to acknowledge that Ordnance Survey do, in fact, know best ....)

Sorry we didn’t get to meet other Funsters, apart from cheery waves, hello’s and ‘it’s bound to clear up later on!’ shouts as we ran past each other in the rain showers!

The first of many Funster Meets this year we hope..... :pray2::pray2::pray2:

Thanks for organising the meet Karen. Sorry we didn’t get to meet but we were out and about every day and tucked up in the warmth in the evenings. We’ve made a few more friends.

Thank you for all your kind words & messages - although things had to be a little different than normal it was really lovely to see Funster friends again & meet & chat with lots of members new to us too. Really enjoyed the guitar music from Petehvan (y) which was perfect for those sunny times. Norden Farm have now confirmed that they are happy to welcome Funsters back again next year all together again :hi5:so we look forward to returning there.

Can't find a rally album on the media so just few photoos. Thanks to Wombles and thanks to Steve Fun for short time adult conversations... :)

May the memories be good and your wellies all be comfy ones.
