Hi & welcome! Have added you to the first post of the thread now Any questions at any point just ask here or send us a message (PM) - hover the mouse over our avatar & click on "Start conversation".Booked today, Michael and Renata. Our first meet!
I saw an email from Norden Farm in my junk Mail box, but deleted it before I had a chance to open it! I’ve asked them to resend it - I could have just confirmed we are self contained, but I thought I’d better ask them to send it again!Don't worry you were on the list as having booked As the toilet & shower blocks are unlikely to be allowed to be open Norden Farm will be checking with everyone (in the next few weeks) if they are still able & happy to camp & once everyone posts here we are bolding each one. Details on post #77 (you were on the alert list) - if you are happy with this then I'll amend the list.
That's good - we had an email from campsite@nordenfarm.com on 12 March (dates could vary) asking us to confirm that we can self-contain - maybe it went into your Spam?Yes we are still up for it but we haven't heard from the campsite

Hi Centurian bigalw35 Nana Sandancers Bessie600 JohnMfish Ray1075 Hammie Teddy B Dorwyn Hils and Glenns tboy - please can you either post here or PM to let us know if you will still be joining us all at Norden Farm this May (bearing in mind that the toilet & shower block has to stay closed) or if you have have moved your booking to 9-13 May 2022 or other dates? Hopefully you will have all been contacted by the campsite by now & decided which you prefer. We will still be going as will quite a few others (see list on first post https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/foru...et-corfe-castle-dorset-10-14-may-2021.219106/ ) as we can't wait to get out & about but will be very cautious as we will still have only had the one jab by then so would be sticking to our own facilities anyway. The Pond Field is a short, level walk to water & waste so that should make life a little easier.

Glenn says when he called Norden farm they said there wouldn't be services. That's good - we had an email from campsite@nordenfarm.com on 12 March (dates could vary) asking us to confirm that we can self-contain - maybe it went into your Spam?
Presume they would have updated your booking then so would have been no need for them to email.Glenn says when he called Norden farm they said there wouldn't be services.
Have added you to the list now You probably won't be far from the Pond Field - all you need is a Fun sticker or sign in your motorhome (will post details on next post for anyone who doesn't already have these) & you are sure to have plenty of individual socially distanced Funster chats or just wander over & say helloJust booked at Norden Farm but not in the Pond Field which is evidently now full.
Robert & Margaret
Thanks for letting us know - we are hoping for 9-13 May 2022 but that's subject to us all behaving & acting in a COVID Safe way this year which is understandable.Wombles, as Boris stubbornly refused to let campsites open their toilet facilities till the week after this rally we have decided to move our booking to next year. Can you confirm the dates that we should move it to when we contact Norden Farm.
Thanks.
Thank you for letting us know & hope to see you next year which will hopefully be 9-13 May 2022.Hi
Unfortunately, we have to cancel our visit to norden farm this year, but hope to transfer to next year.
Perhaps abacist could move into fishers pond now.
Have a great time
Regards
Pam and Danny.
Hi Joy - sure others will also add their knowledge of the area - we've only been a couple of times but will try to answer your queries.
Monkey World is almost all outside so not good on a rainy day but parking is motorhome friendly & just off a main road for driving but have a look via Google Maps to make sure that you are happy with the route.
Don't know when the Miniature Village reopens but can remember walking past there from the campsite before - whether it is suited to shorter children's legs as a walk perhaps others can advise?
As mentioned in the first post there is a bus service at the entrance to Norden that goes down to Swanage then can take a connecting bus to Studland & beyond. Hope that helps a little & once there the Reception will be able to help with more detailed info. Whatever you decide to do hope you have a lovely time catching up with your granddaughter.
The prices are as quoted by the campsite but will vary according to each persons requirements - doing a dummy booking a medium grass pitch (under 7m) with EHU on the website for those dates was £70.50 for 3 nights & a large grass EHU one £75 that included 2 people (less for solo campers) & awning. These are campsite pitches (it's not a rally field) so will be in high demand at the weekend so no room for negotiation on the price especially so near the time too & they are likely to be fully sold out soon with the current demand for camping. We thought about staying on as we are of to the New forest after, I was told the price will be about £26/£28 per night ,is there anyway we can stay on at nominal price per night,
