How can it be the sameSame here overstayed twice a 5 month and 6 month stint no problem they just stamped Passports and didn’t even blink. This is fact.
Missed that but a small amount. I think we would all put in €40 a trip for any overstay. How can it be the sameOur friends were fined

Absolutely but it shows the current system is in disarray as it varies at different border controls. Will be different once the visa system comes in - overstay will pop straight up on their screen I am sure
Quite true, however,we do not know how tolerant they might be after all, when we were in the EU you were supposed to apply for Residencia in Spain after six months but it was more or less ignored and l never heard of anyone facing the consequences of overstaying. Will be different once the visa system comes in - overstay will pop straight up on their screen I am sure
Shame about the solar panels - timeless otherwiseSome random pictures of the road from the oasis Ait Mansour to Tata March 2020

For those in the picture, we had left the day before, but the wonderful Pam Jennings 6th from the left sadly passed away a couple of weeks ago John on the far right is indestructible at nearly 100 is still going strong. They only gave up Motorhoming just a few years ago. We did Morocco four times with them and had a wonderful time she has left a large hole in our hearts. We met on Estapona beach about 25 years ago and have been great friends ever since. I am sure that those that met her will never forget her, a very grand lady.Have a look in resources, I think TerryL might have put something in there along those lines. To the best of my knowledge there are no large groups who meet up and cross together, although quite a lot of Funsters do meet up in small numbers and cross together and I would advise you read through previous threads and wait until around November when you will see much more activity from Funsters going to Morocco and this would be the ideal time to agree a meet up and crossing with someone who has crossed before and can walk you through the procedures.
Once on the other side most Funsters know what they want to do and set off. Some travel in pairs/or very small numbers and some head to the same destination like Tafroute.
Look at this load of Funsters who met up at Taghazout in 2015. There will never be a group like this one ever again.

Thanks for the info. I wonder if you have to have the titre done by an EU vet then or whether it can be sent to an EU approved lab from the UKTravel with your pet - Clínica Europa Tarifa
To travel to the EU from Spain your pet must be identified with a microchip, have a European passport and be vaccinated against rabies with a valid vaccine atwww.veterinario-tarifa.com
Not sure if I have the link thing done correctly but into on this Tarifa vets website has helped me clarify a bit what I need to do to get my dog into and, more importantly, out of Morocco again. May be of use to someone. If the link doesn't work it is Clinica Veterinaria Europa - Tarifa.
Hi, I don't think the titre test has to be done in the EU, the sample just needs to be sent to an EU approved lab of which I think there are two in the UK. We got ours done a couple of years ago when it was thought that it might be needed for travel to EU from UK. my understanding is, as long as the vaccines are kept up to date, the titre certificate lasts for life. Hopefully, depending on your vet and lab turnaround times you could get it done before you go in Jan. Like you, we are planning to go to Spain in Jan with the option of a few weeks in Morocco. Thanks for the info. I wonder if you have to have the titre done by an EU vet then or whether it can be sent to an EU approved lab from the UK. We managed to get an EU passport for my dog in Belgium last month (from a vet on Maz’s list (thank you maz ) and we will be going over again in Jan via tunnel to Spain. Want the option of going to Morocco so will have to look into it more. Thought we were all sorted with all bases covered but now realised maybe not
. Trouble is that if the titre has to be done in the EU then we wouldn‘t be home to receive the returned & certified passport. Also as it might take a couple of weeks to process it could be difficult if the vet verifying the lab result in the passport needs to be the same as the one ordering the blood test as we will be moving about.
I'm wondering now that even if I manage to get a UK vet to do the titre how the antibody result can be added to my dog's EU passportHi, I don't think the titre test has to be done in the EU, the sample just needs to be sent to an EU approved lab of which I think there are two in the UK. TV aerial would be useless, WiFi booster might be of use although we've never needed one.wifi booster or TV aerial
I got a separate certificate with the titre test result. It was signed by the vet submitting the sample and contains microchip number and a barcode sticker relating to the sample. It is also stamped and signed by the lab. The vet stressed to us that we needed to take care of the document as we would not be able to get a copy. She did write in his now defunct UK passport but as you say a UK vet can't make an entry in EU passport. We are hoping to get an EU passport when we get to Spain. I'm assuming, hopefully correctly, that the official certificate will suffice as this is what the vet used when she made the entry in the UK passport. I'll show the Spanish vet the certificate and see if they are able to transfer the details to the new passport.I'm wondering now that even if I manage to get a UK vet to do the titre how the antibody result can be added to my dog's EU passportI think only an EU vet can authorise any entries to the passport. A UK titre test done in an EU approved lab I guess would be ok for the AHC though. It's a right pain.
