We have been asked to leave parking along with several other motorhomes. Parking money returned and told it's official. Locals have complained about German couple who turned up with 4 dogs and built a pen for them next to motorhome. That's 5 wild dogs occupying this space and at least 5 more from motorhome owners. We have been here 5 days and many are telling us they are sad to see us go as we have got on very well with local people and hotel staff. Not to worry, it is what it is and that's life. We are now at Mirleft guardian parking 20 Th. Some of those chucked of this morning are hete too.

What temperature do you have first thing on the morning ?

If you have a bank that does not charge for using abroad................then the Attiwalia Bank(sic) is the only one we have found not to make the usual 2% charge...................no doubt there are others.

Pissing down this morning in Casablanca, it was impossible to see the pot holes because they were hidden with huge puddle or should I say lakes .......now in the sun at camping le relais :D

We chickened out of the coast road from Oualidia but had a pleasant drive down to the crap site at Essaouira.
It's fine if you don't use the facilities and don't mind chancing plugging the electric in. It is full now.

For those of you heading this way.......... Mirleft Guardian parking. Hard right turn before entering town. If you reach the bridge you have passed the turning, it's on a downward slope and doubles back on itself so easy to miss. Twenty Dirhams per 24hrs. Plenty of parking space and Guardian (Rashied) will open toilet for you to empty cassette. No water here so come loaded. 25 minute walk into town that has all you need, bank, garage, cafes, shops, etc, etc,.

Aglou Beach - now wasn't that the place that had a very small (i.e. about 6 places) site you got into through a low arch, we called it the Adams Family after the old dear who owned/ran it? You turned left up a hill immediately opposite the proper campsite and it was on the right. Water was from a cistern, WC disposal down a bog in the corner. 30dirhams.

But I might be wrong of course.

We found a nice site in Tiznit after finding all the ones closer to town were full. Riad assallf 65 d a night big pitch olive trees and peacocks. Toilets and showers leave a lot to be desired. Toilet and shower combined? Not filthy but not particularly clean either. Weather is beautiful hot and sunny

Aglou beach has a proper campsite as you enter the town (90 MAD per 24 hrs) as you drive passed and come to the beach front you have Payant parking signs managed by attendants and this are covers the immediate front of Aglou Beach Hotel. The hotel also has parking on its premises which is a little restricted and for perhaps 3-4 motorhomes but you are unable to see the beach from there and it's 50 MAD per 24hrs. The Payant parking is 10 MAD for day parking and 20 MAD for 24 Hrs parking which was stopped 2 days ago and it was official. I suspect it will be in place for a while. While we were there many of the motormes had come down from the campsite as they were not too happy with the view and paying 90 MAD.

Ha! Ha! Ha! One man's meat is another mans poison. We were there last week and initially took the Lecce option only to find it was not the 6 amp they said it was and the polarity was reversed so told them to remove that option. In the morning the whole campsite was going nuts because the lecce had failed. I was paying my bill in reception when the Frenchies kicked off, well worth 65 Dh to watch them rant and rave and the guy on the desk clearly couldn't give a shit. All right as a stop over IMO.
