Morocco 2018

So here we are at Taliouine. @Dazzlin @horshamjack if you think it’s windy in Tafraoute, it is but a gentle breeze compared to here:Eeek:
The R106 from Igherm to the N10 is still bad. It was ok for the first 20kms and the last 35kms but the bit in the middle is dreadful!! We lost count of how many bridges have been washed away! Ok I know you warned us but you never know they might have got round to repairing it

I will bore you with more pics.
Those who know Tafraoute may recognise places - or not.

Nowt changes on site though.
Hi Daz,
Shame about the rain.
Somebody told us that they were putting sewage pipes along the road at Tafaroute have they now sorted out the sewage lake on the wild area yet?

All dry now and back to the weather we expect.

There is a manhole at the front of the college that is now being used by all, so that should be better.

They had to do something to justify the rise of site fees to 15dh!

It is mainly the area round the dual carriageway and the 'Fest' they have done.
Are the raw chickens still dripping over the cooked ones Daz?

50% increase, wow, that's extortion. I bet the French are crying their eyes out. But I suppose that is only €1.50. How much is the water bowser now?

Daylight firkin robbery:eek:

Some said the same a few years back. The truck owner has to drive up to the blue rocks to fill up the bowser, which must take a while, drive back to town probably 6 miles round trip. He then drives up and down the site dispensing the water - thats cheap less than £2, and we were taking 250 litres, plus filling numerous other receptacles on wash days.

The truck owner spoke to me one day and said some people always complained. He explained that his truck did'nt run on fresh air, and he wasn't doing the job for the good of his health. Two men and a young lad often twin a day to the site.

Enough already my friends, I’ll be getting banished!

The most posts on the maroc thread in one day and they were all in French (spit) but on the nice topic of complementing on the size of body parts. (I think, thanks google translate)!

Oh well, it is the second language of the country.

Vive la France!!!

Oh dear Daz,
You really do look like Billie-No-Mates perhaps it's the Marocco KFC effect!

It's great!!! This is what it was like when I parked here out of choice.

No hoardes looking thru the windscreen when you open the curtains in the morning.
A huge space for a boules tourament @horshamjack , and you can fart quietly without everyone turning to admire your musical abilities. :Eeek:

The idea is for it NOT to feel like a campsite! :reel:
