Keep it quite or that bloody Daz and his child bride will turn up
I wouldn't be worried by a single incident either. Just keep your options open as they say and change plans if necessary.Well as forecast, the doom-mongers are back - but they're trying it on a different thread about Tourists attacked in Morocco. No further comment from me.

This is currently running on another Morocco thread Robert, with a number of views and replies to your overall question. I'm of the view visitors should not be put of by media scaremongering and keep up to date with Foreign Office advice............if you have any confidence in it.http://www.express.co.uk/news/world...ed-knives-British-holiday-hotspot-destination
Should visitors to Morocco be concerned ?
I do t think you will get much on CBBenidorm around New Year sounds like a good plan......also like the idea of a beer in Beni. Ah, the convoy to Algecerias could be a blast. Must take another look at my CB radio and try and get it working.....can see it now; Rubber Duck, Big Ben and PhilandMena, this is tgee and were heading for a connnvoy!!

Those travelling independently could still post their intentions; there may be others who would like to travel with you.
I have a set of radios but not sure how to set pmr! Usually leave it on channel 1 but never hear a thing. Used it with Busman Dave on way back from Portugal and worked fine. Chatting away like two old women.I do t think you will get much on CB
Last time we went we used pmr 446 on channel 5 not brilliant but works in a fashion
If the radios you have are the ones from such as Argos lidle and MaplinsI have a set of radios but not sure how to set pmr! Usually leave it on channel 1 but never hear a thing. Used it with Busman Dave on way back from Portugal and worked fine. Chatting away like two old women.
There Motorola radios, good ones that do not need a license. When we were at Merzouga I managed to talk to Mena from the highest Sand dune which was quite a long way from the motorhome and the clarity of reception was superb. It must have been a very long distance between us as it took Busman Dave two days to reach the top of the same dune. I did try to call Benidorm when I got to Tangier Med but had no joy, disappointed or what!If the radios you have are the ones from such as Argos lidle and Maplins
Then they proberbly pmr (personal mobile radio) that work on uhf frequency 446 PMR446 split into 8 channels
So just set to channel 5 and they should work fine
If not don't go buying anymore I have a spare few knocking round so we can sort out when we meet up in January
Sounds good to me I use motorola radios all time for both work and personal best there is both commercial sets and pmrThere Motorola radios, good ones that do not need a license.
