MOBY GOES TO TURKEY. A tam and pups adventure.

Great photos as usual Tam.

But, take care of yourself and those dugs🤭
I always find this time of year one of reflection, and I don’t think that is a bad thing.

I always raise a glass on New Year’s Eve, to absent friends!
but then it’s good to take a breath and move on.

You are in a great location with 3 great companions doing what you love. What’s not to look forward too.
I wish you and your companions a happy and prosperous 2024.👍

Here endeth the sermon 😂😂

Tam thank you for sharing your trip of Greece brings back some good memories, your photos are stunning, I go back and relook at them you certainly have a talent for photography.

Of course this year ending is going to be reflective with things changing it wouldn't be normal not to look back. You know your Mum will be keeping an eye on you and everyone on this marvelous thread of yours wishing you good energy and positive thoughts for 2024 which will be a brand new adventure I will certainly look forward to virtually following your 2024 journey.

Tam, thank you for taking all of us on a wonderful journey with you over the years.

A honest and open insight into your life your ups and downs and because of this you have gained many friends on MHF along your journeys you have made us worried, happy, sad, jealous, such a range of emotions.

Really enjoying your photography made me and properly hundreds think about going back again to Greece.

In the times you feel a little lonely remember you have a lot of friends who have got to know you well over the years and are thinking of you.

Wishing the best for you and that you will go from strength to strength in 2024.

John

I will think of you today Tam. Like you it’s ended up being a very sad year. The ones where you lose someone you love are always hard. For you it was your Mum and for me it was my younger sister 3 weeks ago today. We can only move forward one day at a time but they will live in our hearts forever. Much love Carolyn xx

People who don't know or take control of their dogs really annoy me.... that's twice in a week ela has been attacked and bitten. I'm sick of it.

My dogs are perhaps not the best trained but I know they're not aggressive and have never attacked another dog.

Fortunately she's fine and it's not serious but not even a proper apology from the other dog owners ... this last one just gave a shrug. He's lucky I didn't knock him on his arse.

It really winds me up does that😤😤

Our Tazzy was attacked a few years ago, we'd gone to Peterborough motorhome show and took her for a potter round the show to stretch her legs (our other dogs didn't like crowds so had a nice snooze in the camper). Whilst walking along the boardwalk between the stalls a couple with a larger dog was coming towards us, Tazzy was walking perfectly slightly in front of me and didn't do a thing, not even looking at the dog, next thing we know she's been grabbed and thrown by the other dog and landed a few feet behind us screaming! We checked her over and she wasn't obviously injured, no tooth holes, but it must've hurt and frightened her as she was shaking. The couple with the dog weren't bothered at all, they just walked on and ignored everyone who made comments abut what their dog had done including that they shouldn't be taking a vicious dog into the public areas - they just thought it was a normal 'dog thing' and that it wasn't a big issue. I told them I would tell security if they didn't take the dog back to their vehicle/out of the area as there were lots of dogs walking around so there was a high chance of it doing the same thing again and that as they knew it was a possibility they should not take it out at all or put a muzzle on it. I wish I had actually got security and got them removed but I was more concerned with Tazzy who since then has been very wary of dogs which is annoying as she'd always been a lovely friendly little girl.

If anything like this happened now I'd be taking videos/photos and reporting them for having a dangerous dog.

My seven month old Ridgeback was set on yesterday in the local park, which I hadn't been too since the last time the same thing happened. He was on a lead as its only a small park and at his age I don't trust him not to chase a dog or squirrel straight out of the place. I think it was the same dog as last time, with a woman instead of a bloke this time. The trouble Tam would have, as I do travelling on my own, if it gets physical, win and the police are likely to drag you off leaving the dogs on their own, lose badly and end up in A&E or the morgue, leaving the dogs on their own. Somewhere in the middle is a fine line you might find if you are lucky.

Yeah mine were all on the lead minding their own business as we walked through monemvasia a couple were sat at one of the bars with a Greek shepherd dog with them it had a lead attached but they obviously weren't holding it as it suddenly charged out barking and snarling and jumped at ela ...she couldn't get away as I had all their leads on and it bit her just before her back leg ...its scratched the skin at one point but scraped the fur off where every tooth made contact you can see an almost perfect circle . I'm pissed off because she is so friendly but is also still quite timid and everytime another dog behaves like that she gets more wary of them. One of the Belgian couples German shepherd kept harassing her at Christmas time ...mostly wanting to play but not taking no for an answer from any of mine. It too bit her at one point causing her tail to bleed. But she was playing with that dog at times too and kept going back. But the one in monemvasia the owners couldn't care less the shits . Next time it happens I'm gonna punch the owner as I'm fed up with it. Out of my 3 milo is the one who barks the most but its mostly bravado and I think he does it to scare them away from him but jade and ela both very friendly with other dogs and people

I’ve become very protective of our dog she’s very placid and 13y old, last week we had a boarder terrier attack her on site with the owner just laughing (Brit) the terrier jumped on her back end causing her back legs to give way, I totally lost the plot and shunted the terrier with my foot, he then tried to deck me with haymakers which ended very badly for him, lucky for him my German neighbours defused the situation, every day he makes the point of walking past the van with his dog on a lead and we exchange pleasantries, what a dick😡😡😡
