Did you get any vibes as to the main nationality of the people investing in the properties in gerolimenas.
Might be an indicator to outward investment in the area, just a passing interest it’s odd how a dormant community all of a sudden comes alive
Yeah I would choose Greece over morroco everytime. Although I've been very lucky with the weather this year. 24° today .. its lovelyTam I am really enjoying the photos from your trip this year. I know others may not agree but Greece looks much nicer compared to your photos of Morocco last year.
That was one of manyDon't bring the cat home , I don't think the dogs would forgive you

There are plenty big wagons around Greece. Sure someplaces might be harder to reach .. you may have to avoid the dirt tracks and some of the beach park ups I do but you'll be able to access the main places no probs. There's always bars and restaurants open in the bigger towns . Park ups are easy in winter time , summer will be more difficult of course but I prefer the quieter out of season time.Tam
these photo's are just fantastic, i'm really wanting to go now and explore Greece
being that our motorhome is 8.8mtrs do you think going your route and destinations we would have any issues, the last place Gythio looks fabulous, is their much open in the way of bars, eateries. What the parking up like especially for an overnight stop
cheers and hope you have a great and safe New Year
Al
Yep that's right it's been there since 1981.The wreck has been there 42 years, according to Wikipedia.
A year after the Athena B, a Greek Registered ship, ran aground at Brighton, my mum took me and my brother to see it on the beach.Yep that's right it's been there since 1981.

I haven't seen Any to be honest. So I'm probably the wrong person to ask. That sky is so blue - the water not far behind - and back here it's soooo grey.........
You're doing more for the Greek tourist board than anyone else! I've never really considered going there as in summer it would be way, way too hot for me - but in the future, out of season at this time of year, that looks very tempting indeed. I know campsites aren't your thing, we tend to do a bit of a mix, do you know if they stay open out of main season?
Village taps, churchyards and closed beach bars. Getting water is pretty easy . Disposing of waste isn't.How do you get your water Tam?

This bad boy ran aground in Redcar where i used to live , it was massive , thankfully was refloated !A year after the Athena B, a Greek Registered ship, ran aground at Brighton, my mum took me and my brother to see it on the beach.
Don't let that one out of the bag!know Tam has his own solution to depositing black waste but I am not going to refer to it.
