MOBY GOES TO TURKEY. A tam and pups adventure.

I would be very wary of buying a property with a shared driveway. They can be the root cause of many a problem.

I don't think that's the driveway but the road

On our plan, yellow shading was used to identified the shared access driveway. I don’t know if it’s a standard convention to use yellow for shared access but you’d have to ask yourself why would they use any form of shading just to show a road?

Tam, may I ask where the “destination” is? The point where you turn round and head back, do you have one in mind?

Isn't a road shared access lol

Youtube is a funny beast. Campervibe, as already mentioned, great channel, very well edited, funny, good content, currently 96,400 subscribers(that surprised me it's gone up a lot recently, maybe the Ireland house hunt) been posting 4 years.
Ame In a Van started popping up on my recommended feeds, I ignored for ages as it was a pretty girl waffling on about van life, was really bored one day so watched one, she is bloody good at YouTube!! Only been posting a year but has 420k followers, it is well edited, funny, content is a bit samey and she thrives off her looks, and I think that's where a lot of followers come from.
It would be a full time job, building up enough of a following to make any money, need investment in recording, editing kit etc.

If I was to hang my keyboard up and try to add to my taken early private pension (not by choice), I would do a self build van, a 5 or 7 ton Iveco, the traditional bed over the garage would be over a big metal cage where I could put gardening equipment in the spring, summer and early autumn months, and I would run a gardening business based mainly on grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, basic stuff. I would use all electric kit, have as much solar as would fit on the roof x2

Times 2 I hear you say, yes, I've never understood why people don't 'stack' solar, I would have a slide out second set of panels on a separate MPPT controller so when parked up they can be slid out to double the array and charge batteries for the garden machines.

When gardening season is over empty the cage and fill with winter sun fun things, paddleboards, mountain bikes etc. and off we go.
Times 2 what a great idea (y)

Could that old ruin be just what you are looking for Tam, in your favourite place and should be cheap....

Hey Tam, hope you don’t mind me going off topic to pick your brains. At the moment we’re full time in the motorhome and experiencing condensation in the back bedroom area ( the heating doesn’t seem to reach there). Thinking of some sort of lining and can remember you doing yours. Is this the type of carpet you used please. Ps. Enjoying your travels 👍

Yes that's the stuff .

And how about you Tam?
Well that's a bit of a disaster, I put on a fair bit of weight this year , mostly comfort eating and living on takeaways while all the stuff was going on with mum. Since I've been back on the road I've obviously not been eating takeaways but I'm still comfort eating. And cake and biscuits are my guilty pleasure. I'm hoping I regain the will power at somepoint but right now I'll be honest it's not gonna happen in the next month or so that's for sure. Christmas , new year , dad's anniversary, mum's birthday etc all coming up over the next 2 months. And I can't see Turkey with all that new food and loads of baklava helping either.

Just chill and don't worry about your weight for now you have enough going on in your head. Enjoy yourself you deserve it.

Just enjoy the trip Tam 👍

We had a walk up to old kardymili this morning and then along to the small harbour where the dogs had a play and a swim at the beach ...they met a new friend , a very energetic dog no idea what type he was but his owner never got out the pickup... he just gave the occasional peep of the horn when he wanted the dog to return.. of course his dog had never met my three before lol so at one point he was blasting that horn for all he was worth and the dog completely ignored him as he was just running around chasing mine 🤣 😂

The first time I visited that wee harbour in 2020 the house at the pier was a ruin but they've totally rebuilt it now and it's all furnished inside. I'm guessing it's either someone's holiday home or a rental as its empty . But lovely job they've done of it and what a location .
Milo had a good swim and ela and jade were in for a good paddle but neither of them seem to like actually swimming .. we then visited the bakers on the way back to the van where I spent a ridiculous amount of money on some baklava and some traditional Greek Christmas almond cookies and chocolate covered cakes. Well it's Christmas after all lol

Had a second walk this afternoon along the big beach to the right of us and then I fell asleep on a bench in the sun for half an hour and when I woke up the dogs were all taking themselves a walk over the rocks .

That's a short haired German Pointer ( the dog) Brilliant pics!
He was a lot of fun ...his owner wasn't too impressed right enough but he was a lazy sod . Never got out the truck . My dogs and myself exercised him .

Beauty isn't measured in KG or Ibs 😉

Take me for example.... I'm not fat, I'm just so sexy that it overflows... 😂😂
