The floor is going to be an easy fix and will be stronger than original .

I haven’t done anything, I’ve left them to it… tooo many cooks in that van.

And he’s using all my old off cuts from the back of my shed…😆😎
Well I wouldn't say "haven't done anything " you've been doggy sitting ,securing the fence from blu the escape artist and providing the transport to fetch the supplies. As uncle Lenny HB will confirm trying to work around the dogs is half the battle so makes it much easier if they're out the way .

Well done with the floor Tam, The back wall looks more challenging. With all the help and skills you've got with you there Looking forward to see it all done 👍
I think the floor will turn out great , the biggest concern is laying new lino as I'm crap at that and obviously the original stuff went under all the units etc which we can't do without completely dismantling the van which we are not doing.

The bathroom wall will be more of a challenge, I'm panicking but mackeellan thinks it's no problem . ..i have faith

New floor supports glued and screwed in position , under floor glued and screwed back up. Leaving that to set overnight and will refitt the polystyrene tomorrow and glue and screw the top sheet of plywood down. Should be nice and solid then.

The original floor just didn't have enough cross supports in the frame and the bottom sheet had sagged causing the top sheet to crack.

Should be better now.

The caravan we had was similar but in back of a cupboard so I just bodged it and sold it.

Yeah I don't want to bodge it . We're cutting out all the old wood and polystyrene insulation. Building a new wooden frame bonded to the grp then new insulation between and new board. Then lining the whole bathroom. Hopefully look OK when done.

Could use some 6mm moist resistant mdf panelling or a proper bathroom panel, for floor use laminate instead of Lino ?

hi Gary

let Tam know that if he likes guinness but wants to keep alcohol free the Guinness 00 I think is excellent, really smooth, not bitter at all and very drinkable

It’s the future 😉👍

I’ve heard that AL but haven’t tried it yet but I intend too…👍🏼
