It is a Series 3, as you say the owner has modified the front grill, replaced the original with mesh.May be a spanish built on called a santander or just the owners mod mirrors are wrong as well
There's one in Seaford that's very close to Newhaven or you can park overnight for free by Newhaven harbour. West side right down by the water.Me sister and bil are taking their first adventure to France with their motorhome in September. Doing Newhaven to dieppe crossing on my recommendation but they want a campsite in UK near Newhaven for their night before the ferry. Anyone got any recommendations?
Very similar just a different use of S's and Z'sAmerican? .. since when was that a language lol.
On tbe subject of coastlines, are you forgetting the Baltic coast with some of the best beaches in Europe! So I discovered sadly that the bangs we heard yesterday was nothing to do with the festival but seems to be something they do to scare the birds ...so our brief walk around the town was not great as everytime the bang went off poor ela practically tore grooves in the pavement ...jade wasn't much better View attachment 923326View attachment 923327View attachment 923328View attachment 923329View attachment 923330View attachment 923331View attachment 923332View attachment 923333View attachment 923334
It's roasting again today , 30° I thought it would get cooler the further north I got but seems its only UK with shit weather. .....but at least none of my windows have fell out ...thank god I don't have one of those cheap morelo vans lol bits falling off left ,right and centre
I feel sorry for the Germans not having a coast though... well apart from way up north in the north sea . Because even the lakes and rivers here are not that appealing...or at least not to me. I like clear water and it's almost dark green or brown here and you'd not get me in it. So finding anywhere to keep cool isn't that easy.
Another interesting thing .....I was walking this morning and a girl/woman about 30 spoke to us ...initially in German and when I said ... ich sprechen kliene deutsch...she said ah its OK I speak english well American
American? .. since when was that a language lol.
Yeah I counted that in the "way up north by the north sea " lol . Its a long way from here. I think I'm closer to the beaches in North Italy than up there at the minute. On tbe subject of coastlines, are you forgetting the Baltic coast with some of the best beaches in Europe!
Yes but it isn't a recognised language... its still English.Tam wrote 'American? .. since when was that a language lol.'
Answer, since people of USA, and other countries, forgot how to properly use English syntax, grammar and spelling and furthemore invented words not understood in Standard English.
Hot up here too Tam, im up near Dortmund and it was hitting 32° earlier today, dropped down to 27° now, but its coming 8.30pm but showers forecast for tomorrow so maybe that'll cool it down a bit lolIt's roasting again today , 30° I thought it would get cooler the further north I got but seems its only UK with shit weather
Yes same here , still 27°now and storms forecast overnight.. but tomorrow looks cooler thankfully. It was 30° when we left Holland earlier this morning View attachment 923533
Yes mine has done it on all my previous vans, a sharp change in temperature can do it too, you'll notice it again when you leave cold UK for Maroc next winter lolFor those with rear air suspension is it normal to lose a bit of pressure over a few weeks or have I got a leak?
I lose around 0.5 bar over maybe 2/3 weeks . This is only my second van with air suspension. Its no hassle to top it up with my compressor takes literally 1 second.

If you have a leak you'll know about it
OK that's alright then ..I did think it wasn't losing a lot too quickly and the last van I had with it did have a serious leak.i have relatively new air assist ( 2 + years ) big temperature changes can make a few psi difference on such a relitively small amount of air.
so if you set the pressure in Cgreece when it was 35'c i would expect the pressure to have changed when the ambient rediced to say 25'c in Austria for example.
Well you only have to worry if its going down quickly . 0.5 bar in 3 weeks isn't much of a concern for me . It just seems to be about the same amount. I like it around 2.5 bar pressure , when it gets to 2 I can feel the van a bit more jelly like on roundabouts .Can’t say I’ve noticed on my rear air suspension…. I’ll have to check now … something else to bloody worry about….
I have a German friend who speaks excellent English but with an American accent. She says it’s because she lived next to an American military base in Germany and because she watched a lot of American films and programmes as a child. She would “joke” that she spoke “American”. I think what your young woman was doing, Tam, was cracking what passes for a joke in German. As you probably know, they are not known for their sense of humour. It just seemed a really weird thing to say ...almost like they were reluctant to say they spoke english.

Yes there's quite a few lakes ... but not the same as a lovely sandy sea beach. And they always seem to be full of weeds the ones I've seen. But granted I've not been at any of the really big ones. You're right of course Tam, Germany is somewhat devoid of sea or decent beaches in the south. Shame you are now way past Chiemsee in Bavaria, south of Munich. Lovely huge lake with lots of good bathing places - in fact anywhere along the 64 km-long shoreline.
Safe travels!

Agreed, definitely not the same as the sea.Yes there's quite a few lakes ... but not the same as a lovely sandy sea beach. And they always seem to be full of weeds the ones I've seen. But granted I've not been at any of the really big ones.
Are you sure it was the dogs that scared herDamm you lot for making me have to endure people to get you some photos.
Just encountered another over reacting irrational fear woman who let out with a scream as I walked past with the dogs in rothenburg, the Dogs hadn't even looked at her lol but she was taking a photo then turned round saw the dogs screamed and shouted get away get away ... very embarrassing as half the town stopped to stare
These people shouldn't be let out in public. Care in the community has gone a step too far.
I think she was chinese/Japanese.
