Well we arrived in dinklesbuhl yesterday afternoon, I planned to have a walk around this morning but there must be an event of some sort on as there's fireworks or canon/gunshot fire and loud music and both ela and jade are frightened so I don't think that will be happening. I hand feed blu everyday as she eats too fast otherwise but this morning I've had to hand feed jade and ela too as they won't eat when they're scared so breakfast has taken over an hour lol .

I mean what time is this to start some event or other .... its only 09.10 now and the bangs have been going on since 8am

I have to ask where that is , it looks like UK number plates despite the blank outs. I thought Dutch at first but both their plates are yellow. Also is it the same van from the first photo? There's one of those models for sale In the UK on ebay at the minute , has the fixed bed in the middle of the van and bathroom across the rear. That paint job is terrible though. It looks like a 5 year old painted it.

In a carpark next to the sports fields . Very quiet just how I like it. I went to the aire to empty the toilet yesterday. 25 motorhome spaces but at least 50+ motorhomes in there crammed everywhere ...electric cables running all over the place. My idea of hell so I went in hunt of a carpark. This one isn't on park4night

I wasn't in that one but the other red spot near rothenburg tower is heaving. And the 3 carparks shown on that map are also heaving. This one I'm in I was the only campervan here yesterday. There's one more came in this morning as he spotted me from the road

Just discovered there's a festival on and you can't even get in the town today without a ticket . So we won't be visiting dinkelbuhl today sadly .


I did meet a lovely old guy with a 1971 bus he's converted and owned for 25 years .. its lovely . This is something I'd really like. Lots more character than a new van
