MOBY GOES TO TURKEY. A tam and pups adventure.

Poor Internet so the coffee pic didn't upload

Who knows yet. I like this van despite its downsides but it needs to start being reliable so I get a chance to love it.
I get that, it’s an odd way to put it but you do fall out of love and loose your enthusiasm when things go all bendy. I am sure all will be good and love will return especially if you get the mirrors done. Safe travels from today 🫰

Yeah I smacked one of the mirrors off a wall the other day too so ive still to fix that. But its actually improved the rear view so I'm going to repair it but in the position it now sits in . I had very poor vision in the rhs mirror before so I'll fix it before it gets painted

Never admit to anything like this on a forum, you have just had a fault accident with your motorhome, your premiums will now rise regardless of whether you claim or not

That’s if they ever find you😉👍👍

Every mechanic and driver that comes in here is making a fuss of these dogs , they're spoiled rotten lol. Even the women from the office have all been round to see them. And of course everyone wants to pet milo and he's just barking at them all lol. Ela the big tart is all over everyone

Dogs are an even better social lubricant than beer when you’re on the road.
Going to be very strange when we head off without Beech this winter…

I get the "liking the van" bit. We're the same. We like our old van, it does the job we want from it. We have the money to change but we'd get the same layout, the layout that suits us atm, for a lot more money. Maybe when we want a different layout, we can buy something then.

We're presently having a few days (maybe more) away. Our view today from our window.

It would be exactly the same for a higher price if we decided to change.

Well what a feckin day it has been. So yeah prewarn I'm in a grumpy mood

The garage ....well it all started so well but I ended up seriously annoyed with them.

He told me yesterday to bring the van there for 9.30 /10 am as the part would arrive at 10 and they would get straight on the job . So i did which meant I was sat in reception with the dogs around 9.45. The alternator turned up just after 10am , they put the van on the ramp at 10.35 so I figured it would be ready an hour or so later . 12.30 pm and still no word at which point my phone was out of charge , Ricardo went out somewhere around 12.50 and never returned , no one came to tell me anything until 13.15 then Marco came to reception with his piece box in his hand and said 15 minutes van will be ready , so again I waited, dogs very bored by this time , I was starving having only had cereal at 07.45 , and I needed the toilet.... kept waiting and waiting , 2.45 it finally came off the ramp and he parked it outside ... then it took till 15.20 before the office girl finally took the payment so I could leave. I don't think he'd even started the van till after he'd had his lunch so probably around 2pm ... and I'd been sat there all that time waiting . If they'd said I could have been away with the dogs somewhere and I could have eaten etc ... so the whole day wasted sat on a very uncomfortable chair in a freezing cold waiting room .

The bill was still the Same which is just aswell because I'd have created hell had it been more than quoted.

It's 2 bloody bolts and incredibly easy to access from underneath. I think he actually spent maybe 45 minutes top changing the bloody thing.

So then I needed to grab some shopping from lidl and then find somewhere to park up. Once again the first 3 options were crap so I'm about an hour down the coast. Finally making some food

I think that’s a good price and overall good service in the grand scheme of things, seen as though you just turned up on spec yesterday and by this afternoon it had been ordered, arrived and fitted.
Yeah I agree, other folks have been looking at weeks and thousands of pounds.
