MOBY GOES TO TURKEY. A tam and pups adventure.

I can't see any jobs on top of the camper. Surely there are easier ways to deal with your toilet needs.

Paint off mirrors I would guess
Yeah took a good few hours to get it off despite whoever painted them not preparing them properly, no primer or anything. A bit more tidying up on them to do for now and they'll get resprayed when the van does next winter.

Well that's gotta look a bit better eh?

I dinnae like my van looking scabby.

Yeah alternative door fly screen as this van doesn't have one. I figured if I put 2 up it should have enough gather to stop some flies. Wisnae paying £30 for one of those chenile cats tails thingy majigs.

4 of them cost £11 😁

Alternatively I could splash out and spend my mums inheritance on a newer van .

Cannae find a decent merc based euro model for £50k anywhere

But this looks well equipped

I had one of them Autosleepers lent to me for a weekend while my usual garage done work on my van at the time and I'll tell you what Tam they are a very good van, seemed to be very well made I almost bought one! 😮

Couldn't afford to run it and it would be way way too restrictive travelling but how beautiful is this?

On a bit land somewhere just parked up it would be lovely. The end bedroom with the curved windows etc ...

I bet it sounds beautiful too.

It's very cool and very retro.

Useless as a motorhome in Europe though but would make a lovely house on my own bit land .

Would be nice to do route 66 in though.

I hate to imagine the mpg

If you got into double figures with petrol you would be lucky but with the gas conversion it will be a bit better. 👍
My RV a Winnebago journey with a 6.5 Cummins engine, grossing out at 12 ton did 8 MPG but I did get it up to 11 MPG a couple of times on big runs. 👍 I did get a lot of nectar points though. 😂

Yeah I had American cars and a couple of chevy day vans that struggled to get more than 8/10 mpg .

Quite good apart from the island bed which limits garage space.

Garage looks quite good on it though , lounge is a bit small . But you know this is as close to buying one of those as I'll get at the minute lol.

I'm just window shopping on ebay lol.

Maybe in a few years if interest rates drop again and I'm getting nowt for my savings but at the minute I'm not touching my rainy day fund .
