MOBY GOES TO TURKEY. A tam and pups adventure.

Yes I like it to be dry and comfortably warm , so I can do things outside without feeling cold or getting wet, don't want to have to wear jackets and jumpers etc but I also don't want to be sweating and sticky all the time either . So I'm probably happiest around 20-25° and about 12° overnight . That'd ideal for me .. Once it gets up to high 20's ot above I just don't want to do anything ..I can't even be bothered eating when it's too hot. Its roasting again today but there's a little breeze thankfully . But the dogs and I have been in the water since 9am anyway ... just got out 10 minutes ago , washed my hair under the lovely beach shower I have outside my door and might have a wee nap before lunch .

Bliss
Currently in the south of France and yes had the odd sun shower but it's usually shorts and t shirt days. So it's a nice location with pleasant weather. Spend the weekend in millau. €17 for a campsite on the river or I think it was just over €10 for the aire. Now in a 1 horse town (nice walking) on an aire that includes electric for €7 ( Broquiès) . That's a bargain.
We do do France and may be doing more in the future.

Actually in Millau tomorrow, been over the Viaduct many times but never dropped into Millau itself, might have a few days if weather holds.

We were going to use the aire, but the sat navigation warned me of a 3.5t restriction, so we used camping erables. When we walked past the aire restrictions only applied for the last 20 feet, so there are no issues. However, the camping was very pleasant.

The Aire (CCP) in Millau is tight for larger vans but one Brit van had Angles Mort stickers on.
Wouldn't stop there again..
..Millau itself is worth a visit, you see little passing over the bridge except a toll booth.....

Few wild spots in millau too, I stayed there one night last year

I’m leaving Fuerteventura tomorrow morning and although there are a lot of motorhomes around I don’t fancy it…😎
I think you have to do all the canary Islands to make it worth your while with a van as the ferry from mainland Spain is about £1k .

The geordie couple and Austrian couple I travelled in Morocco with went there with their vans and done all the islands

32° today but the sun has been hiding behind a mist/cloud most of the day.

Got a new neighbour too, 3 frenchies in this small van , 1 girl two guys ... they squeezed in parking right in front of the Italian couple who've been here since before I turned up. . Thought it was a bit cheeky as they've blocked their view and the sun from hitting their van. But typical selfish French campers. But the dogs and five finger death punch should move them on in the morning 😁

They parked right where this blue line is. Selfish gits lol.

You have to laugh at the Greeks, so they're obviously getting this area ready for the main holiday season , so there have been gardeners and painters ( if you can call them that) here the last couple of days . There's a guy with a leaf blower just moving a mess from one area to the next ....there's a guy with a mop bucket full of white paint and unbelievably also using a mop to do the actual painting , he's painting everything... the toilet block , the edging stones along the side of the road , the bottoms of the trees , the base of the showers etc.. but he's literally splashing the paint everywhere . There's more spilled and dripped over the road ,the pavement, the wooden walkways etc ... it just looks a bloody mess🤣. Like what is the point , it's definitely not making the place look better . Also they have a pick up truck with open buckets of paint in the back and those are also dripping down the back of the truck and leaving a trail behind it. And the leaf blower guy is blowing dust all over the freshly painted bits 🤣. It's like the keystone cops... and these are proper messini council/local authority workers .. they have the uniforms and the truck is sign written.

Obviously no one inspects the work afterwards

Got rid of the frenchies.....and the Italians have gone too , they actually left before the French van. Probably thought they were going to stay . So I have the wee corner to myself.

But I'm contemplating going in to kalamata as I need an adaptor from the Chinese shop and I could do with some shopping.

I might just come back here for a few more days though. Will see
