MOBY GOES TO TURKEY. A tam and pups adventure.

No he has enough to deal with between Tam, Smiffy & Co and now he's going to have his own new van too to work on,
No I've sent an email of to those 2 off grid boys Lenny recommended and see what they say...
Trouble is there's only really room for the one battery as below the drivers seat is the compressor for the air suspension but we'll see what these boys say
I thought the air suspension compressor and tank are normally mounted under th chassis, mine are.

Told you .

And there are idiots who don't realise it's just plastic ...
Surely it comes from grass fed cows. 🤣

Does the one battery do engine and habitation like? Surely not.

If its a 150ah lithium habitation battery that should be enough surely if you stick a solar panel on it too.

It's never seen a cow lol . It comes on a roll probably from Pakistan.

I had a mate once who got his vw camper reupholstered ..he was adamant it was alacantra suede but he couldn't answer when I said how did they get the skin on a roll ..

For years he argued it came from an animal... 🤣🤣

No ordinary heavy duty starter battery and then the 150ah lithium for the habitation....
I've honestly no idea what it needs I've never had lithium in a camper van before so it's all new to me

Well the compressor fridge will be the heaviest drain I'd imagine .. but 150 lithium is equivalent to 300 lead acid etc. And if you're parked up in one place for more than a few days , solar would keep it charged up.

The 240v fridge was what used the most power in that big euramobil I had but it still managed if it was bright and sunny ... but it was just lead acid batteries .

Rosie loves the portholes! Lol and sure it'll remind me of my boats... 😂
It's white which I like with the black graphics and dark windows, I'm not dying about the other new colours, gunmetal grey and dark blue, not really what I'm after, it's very similar to this one I seen in Carthago last yearView attachment 899004View attachment 899005
If you wanted a van with Portholes you could have had a seventies custom van in orange. 😂👍

Yea I'll definitely get some sort of solar sorted for it, I'll wait until the 2 brothers that do all that off grid stuff get back to me and go from there

No haven't even done anything to sell it yet lol but I'm sure it won't sit for long, every time I look on the net they're all sold

My neighbour bought a 720S new , he kept it for 14 months , he worked out with all the costs it cost £20 per mile to drive . His commute was 50 miles round trip . Work out the maths on that one ! 😱😱😱😱

£20 per mile !

Deprecation on purchase not cost to run.

If it was cost to run in fuel , it would need a trailer just for the extra fuel for a 50 mile run.

Give me cold anyday, you can always put a coat on.
We have had two days together now at 22 here that will do me for summer let's get back to snow.
Must be the farmer in you 22 is cold, last weekend we had 23 almost took my jumper off. Not holiday weather until it's in the 30's.

It’s a lot easier to warm up than cool down👍
You would have to say that living in the frozen north.

I've been in Sweden in minus 20° if you get cold it takes days before you feel normal no thanks give me 30° any day.
