I think it may have left already ....well I'm hoping so anyway. I thoroughly cleaned out the cupboard under the sink and the food cupboard next to it today. I've also now sealed up the gap around the drain pipe with duct tape so it should now be really obvious if the mouse gets in the food cupboard again. All food bar tins and jars I've moved to an upper cupboard so there's nothing to attract it. . I can't find anywhere obvious that it could be nesting unless it's in the one area underfloor. Beneath the wardrobe. Will see if there's any further trace of it In the next day or 2 .

Nah its been in here a week or two I reckon. Maybe not as long ago as cappadocia though so I reckon I've picked it up in georgia . Not sure if it's still in the camper or not . It's the fact it had carried a few dozen almonds from one cupboard in to the next that's really interesting. The only gap in that cupboard is where the sink drainer goes through right at the top .
I once found a wellington boot in an upstairs bedroom full to the top with dog kibble. The mice had carried it through two downstairs rooms and up the stairs. Such a clever idea to store for later(y):giggle:

I keep finding more traces of it ....I can't believe its actually been chewing the throws on the cushions both the dogs and myself sit on ... i mean do they have no feckin fear

I don't know how long it/they've been in here . Not much droppings around really and still no sign of an actual nest. But realistically it could have got anywhere in the camper and its really awkward to empty it to search it .

To me it looks like something bigger than a mouse, have you been near some squirrels that have been coming and going?

Get some traps Tam. If they don't catch the mice this time you can keep them set somewhere discreet and check them every morning so this never happens again. I haven't had mice for years but I still keep two set traps. I put dog kibble in as it doesn't go off so quickly.

Brother in law keeps getting mice in his van in storage no matter how he searches the van he can’t find them. But he puts down a couple of traps and then usually get them within a day or so.

They are messy and frustrating.

Hope your rid of them soon Tam

Nah the only thing I saw was those hamster things in cappadocia. But the spaces its got through I reckon it has to be a mouse. I'm going to have to get a couple of traps just to make sure.

Well yeah, they don't sit with you when your watching telly, it's more of a timeshare kind of deal! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
I remember having mice as a kid, they did come out when we were watching telly, out from under the gas fire and strolled across the lounge!!

Those dogs must sleep very soundly not to hear the mouse, I would have thought Milo especially would be going nuts at night trying to catch it….🐭
Yep I'm surprised as they were going nuts watching them out the window at cappadocia

But still ....a feckin scent hound and she's not flinched.

The crazy thing is they can all be lying sleeping , a dog or a cat etc can walk by at least 20/30 metres away and the next thing they're all up at the window growling barking etc. So how a mouse can be in the van moving about etc and them not be sniffing round the cupboards etc I don't understand . They should all be embarrassed.

Wondering if it's found a nice hidey hole and only comes out when you take the hounds for a walk?
No idea . But I keep thinking I hear it now , probably my imagination.

It better enjoy itself because tomorrow there will be traps. Don't mind the fecker having a few almonds but when it's ruining throws, my berber robe , bags of food etc it's times up.

This story reminds me of yet another.
Right then Folks, altogether after 3.
A mouse lived in a Mobyvan in old Turkestan
A Mobyvan with a mouse in and he wasn't grousin'
He sang every morning, "How lucky I am
Living in a Mobyvan in old Turkestan !"
I saw a mouse!
(Where?)
There on the stair!
(Where on the stair?)
Right there!
A little mouse with clogs on
Well I declare!
Going clip-clippety-clop on the stair
Oh yeah!
This mouse he got lonesome, he took him a wife
A Mobyvan with mice in, it's hardly surprisin'
She sang every morning, "How lucky I am
Living in a Mobyvan in old Turkestan!"
I saw a mouse!
(Where?)
There on the stair!
(Where on the stair?)
Right there!
A little mouse with clogs on
Well I declare!
Going clip-clippety-clop on the stair
Oh yeah!
First they had triplets and then they had quin's
A Mobyvan with quin's in, and triplets and twins in
They sang every morning, "How lucky we are
Living in a Mobyvan in old Turkestan, ya!"
I saw a mouse!
(Where?)
There on the stair!
(Where on the stair?)
Right there!
A little mouse with clogs on
Well I declare!
Going clip-clippety-clop on the stair
Oh yeah!
The daughters got married and so did the sons
The Mobyvan had christenin's when no one was listenin'
They all sang in chorus, "How lucky we am
Living in an abandoned Mobyvan in old Turkestan!"
I saw a mouse!
(Where?)
There on the stair!
(Where on the stair?)
Right there!
A little mouse with clogs on
Well I declare!
Going clip-clippety-clop on the stair
Oh yeah!
A mouse lived in the Mobyvan, so snug and so nice
There's nobody there now but a whole lot of mice
Oh yeah!
Ye all Have Fun in the sun now!.

I can’t say they actually work but I’ve used two of these in our RV over the last 15 years when it’s been in storage and never ever seen any signs of mice, a good few years of that was on a farm next to the hay shed. The ones I’ve got take 2x 9v batteries in each and last about 9 months.
