We've stayed regularly in a Turkish coastal village called Turunc, not far from the resort of Marmaris, and it sounds just as you've described. When you sit outside here it's like being on a farm all I can hear is sheep ,cows ,dogs ,roosters etc ..
Interesting thing I've noticed here. Lots of these tiny wee caravans but very basic and no handles on them. No fridges etc or toilets . I imagine their very light as I've seen Renault clios towing them.Looks light enough to manhandle, as many caravanners do, thus the handles on many.
That wee caravan is so close to you it looks like you are towing it. I thought you had gone and bought yourself a passion wagon so you can get some private time away from the dogsInteresting thing I've noticed here. It was deliciousThe fish is A rather nice Bass Tam, needs descaling, a beautiful eat.
Fantastic photos. Scrolling through and suddenly a cow is just looking at you. After the temple yesterday we drove an hour and a half along the bumpiest road I've been on outside of morroco to a small seaside village that was again recommended by dave n marsha kiyikislacik , and it's my favourite place in Turkey so far. The village itself is nothing special but there's some old ruins to explore , a castle up the hill , nice wee parking spot at the harbour side with lots of comings and goings to watch and best of all there's about 10 lovely friendly street dogs , I spent ages with them yesterday they just love human interaction....

I love cows and sheep. I am surrounded by them, I can't believe I still eat meat. Edited to say the farmers around here have offered me free meat for using my field but I can't eat something I have known.Fantastic photos. Scrolling through and suddenly a cow is just looking at you.

Love looking at the sheep in the field next to us, cows are more interesting but when we had cows in the field the house was always full of flys. And of course when they stuck theirs heads over the fence and ate 'er indoors plants, I got the blame for strimming them.

They might identify as both or either depending on which way the wind is blowing. Are you sure SHE does not identify as Donetta.
Too early to say but it gets me out of shengen for 3 months and whilst it's not tropical the sun is back at least so it's comfortable t shirt weather. I'll reserve my overall view of turkiye till I've been here a while I think.Tam. How is your Turkeyometer after a few days?
