I just can't get my head round these furniture firms , how many sofas are they going to deliver before Xmas , all the adverts on the tv say delivery before Xmas , if they couldn't deliver mine before next week they would be keeping it. Not as I'm thinking of ever buying another.Just a few photo`s and quick update....
Frame work all up for workshop and tractor shed...
Ready to start the outside cladding, but these gales have put paid to that the last couple of days, so maybe today...
Still been able to work on the new En-suite, what with their temporary tent/canopy...
All 12 internal doors replaced... (Anyone want 12 solid wood internal doors, Free.. )...
Had a phone call from the furniture company..... can we deliver your new gear on 1st December... NO, not ready yet..
That`s the only slot we have.... if not acceptable wont be till after xmas.. ...
Builders want to knock the doorway through to our bedroom for the En-suite end of next week... another .... Only just replastered the whole of the spare bedroom we will have to move into.. So heating on full blast to try and get it dried out so I can decorate & re carpet...

They're great (said in a 'Tony the Tiger' voice! ) ... I'm gonna send the info on to the chap who owns the park where our lodges are as he's in the process of building more ... might be worth him investigating them further! You could have had a couple of buildings up in 6 hours

@old-mo whatever happened about the 'uplift' clause the sellers wanted to tie you up with? Did you get it removed? Just being nosy!
Wooden sheds seem to be the in thing at the moment , two gone up near us this year , one even has a tiled roof.
see she is a fan of countdown
I think we are going to have to ask @Jim to change you from Old mo to Amazing Mo.
Well done Mo your doing a great job even though the weather is bloody freezing out there!
Its killing me, so got to ask, how much is a ton of ready mixed concrete these days, last batch I bought was when I lived at home with my mum a long long time ago, and that was £350 for a 6 yard (10 ton) load then! I will prepare myself for a shock when you tell me how much it costs today, no doubt.
Keep up the good work.
Les
Right let`s get it right.... This time I am only doing the little job`s..
I have got a contractor to do the mainstay of the work on the building side of things...
Don`t want people to think I am clever...
Regarding your question on how much is Ready Mix Concrete..
Firstly I always use the term "Ton/s"... in actual fact it is in square mtrs...
The last time I ordered some was about a year ago, and that was for a slab 32ft X 14ft X approx 5 inches thick.... and what ever that is in mtrs cost £480 mixed and delivered...
Afraid being a bit thick on numbers you will have to work it out, sorry..
@ianthebuilder (Ian) Might have a better idea at the costings than me...
