Mercedes vario 814 self build bus to FLT palace

I’ve sold a few of my bikes privately and the buyer didn’t get to test ride it till I had the full asking price in my hand (cash in those days). If he binned it it didn’t matter it was his.
Yeah i did the same with my bikes.

If i don't think he seems keen enough before the test drive ill just refuse to take him . He should know whether its for him or not before going for a drive. Im working Saturday night too so hes getting 3 hours max to view it etc

Well fireman jeff has done a full hpi check on toby ...all came back good . Not sure how much thst cost him

And hes driving up tomorrow from whitely bay in a 3.2litre petrol volvo towing his wee caravan to see toby at 12.

So im guessing he isn't a timewaster at least. So will see what tomorrow brings

Same here only ever put down 1k on new vans. A deposit has to be an amount you are prepared to right off.
Thought you said you were poor. I would not risk 50 quid.BUSBY.😁😁

If you can cancel within 14 days I don't think they can charge you the admin fee just the days you have used.
I'll wait and see if he's buying it and what date he plans to collect then ill phone safeguard and explain the situation and see what they say ...ill tell them im not getting new van till next spring so don't want to renew for a year etc .

Presenting toby as best i can while living in it and full of my stuff ... hoping it doesnt smell of dog because you get nose blind when you own them ...but also don't want to spray air freshener around etc as it looks like your hiding something.

Looks great .Sink is looking great still.

I expect Toby smells just fine. I find the doggy smell tends to go with larger, fat, older dogs. Juat open the windows and let a bit of fresh air blow through it.
Good luck with tbe sale. 👍😊
Yes I can't smell them and the skylights are always open and the door during the day so it gets plenty of air ...but mum claims she can smell them all the time 😏

Yeah the sink still as good as it was when i finished it ... bathroom very tidy now.

As long as they arent the type to want a brand new van for second hand money I can't see them picking many faults with Toby. I take pride in my vehicles and he's been looked after.

Ok so its technically sold...we have shook on it but he hasn't paid the deposit yet ..he says he will transfer that this evening.

In typical fashion Toby decided to play up and my abs light and traction control light came on on the motorway... I had noticed as soon as i took it out the drive that i felt the front passenger tyre was soft so im hoping thats been the cause but if not i imagine it will just be a sensor. Anyway i need to fix that and regass the Aircon but everything else they were delighted with.

I looked over his caravan but ive not made a decision on that yet ....its a bit small and a shock to the system overall lol.

Collecting 1st September so that would give me around 3.5 weeks to press on with the van
