Yeah i did the same with my bikes.I’ve sold a few of my bikes privately and the buyer didn’t get to test ride it till I had the full asking price in my hand (cash in those days). If he binned it it didn’t matter it was his.
If i don't think he seems keen enough before the test drive ill just refuse to take him . He should know whether its for him or not before going for a drive. Im working Saturday night too so hes getting 3 hours max to view it etc
