Yes its the same level as the rest of the floor.Looks good do the levels add up? What do you plan for insulation and flooring?
Cheers James
If bonding 6mm would be more than enough, 4mm would probably be strong enough. Would be better to use a non foil faced foam if bonding.Crazy idea but how about 12mm phenolic ply celotex and the 12mm ply bonded all together like a sip. Very rigid and stiff.

YesDoes it double as a Patio?
It should be exactly 8 metres from the front bumper to the rear of the carrierSo what will be total length Tam with the bike on the back
Will it take it to over 8 metres?
Think its dearer on ferries etc above 8 metresIs 8m a significant length????
Cheers James
You need a tail lift for that. Bob.Does it double as a Patio?
Booked in to someone else in 2 weeks time ...gives me time now to buff all the floor suports chassis etc up and paint it .What are you doing about the sills now, are you taking it back to the slow coaches or going to find someone else?
Both the bumper and the carrier slide in 2 rails and are secured by a bolt and pin .What fixes the bike carrier/bumper in place once you have swapped them over, Is that a threaded hole I see in the box section for a bolt to go through and clamp on to what ever you have fitted?
I thought that yesterday, I presume there will be a ramp involved.Silly question how do you load the bike up onto the ‘patio’
Wheelie and hop back end up.Silly question how do you load the bike up onto the ‘patio’
That's how I'd do it, I wasn't sure if Tam had got the technique...Wheel a
Wheelie and hop back end up.
What are you doing about lights when it is fitted? Trailer board fixed to it permanently with a 7 or 13 pin socket? The patio is finished well the welding part at least. I need to give it a couple of coats of red oxide primer now and then store it till later. View attachment 505996View attachment 505997
