Its been raining here for days so unfortunately nowt has changed. The new step and front wheel arch has now arrived so ive a bit more to cut out in that area to get that to fit ...but rain forecast again today from 11am

I would never ever, ever EVER buy a dark coloured sink ... been there, done that, got sick of it ... they are an absolute pain to keep clean as the lime out of the water stains them ... somehow I don't think Tam likes to do a lot of housework ...

An old hippy pal of mine had a self build with a wood burner installed, he used to love wild camping up in Scotland and would cut a stack of wood and hide it away for the next time he was in that area, maybe a year or two later. He once told me about a time he was camping in a remote Highland valley and a young couple, newly into the van life parked up near him. There was a really bad snow storm and they got snowed in for 6 days, the couple moved in with him as their gas ran out after 3 days and they'd flattened their batteries too, but the wood burner kept them warm.

I've got a lovely little one in the garden, came out of one of the old Chemistry labs when it was being converted to offices, not sure of the condition although it might give you the 'rustic' feel you're after what with the wood burner!

More seriously, have you considered a circular sink as they are more efficient water-wise (no corners to fill), bowls are easier to buy to fit and they take up less worktop space than a square one, something like this:

Took toby to Kirkcaldy to fill up my lpg ...towed the car down to the garage and left it there so i can drive back tomorrow when i take the merc to the fabricators.

I forgot how nice toby drives and how quiet he is compared to the merc. Took milo with me to try him in front seat but he not like it ...still trembles etc and when i stopped to drop of the car he jumped back in the back of the van and stayed there the rest of the time.

My canal boat interior was just 6 metres by 2 metres, and was inspected regularly by the boat safety folk.

Having said that, I’m now aware of the CO risks. I borrowed a large gas space heater to use in my garage when I was building a plane. When I started getting headaches I bought a CO monitor and discovered why. I now have one in the plane as well as the moho.

I'd like to see that woodburner . No problem with getting it to draw though.

Buffalo "chips" and camel dung has been burnt as fuel for years. The only difference I can see is that camels and buffalo are vegetarian- so if Tam made a minor adjustment to his diet I think it would work and be less aromatic

Protest, protest! , on the couple of occasions I've seen Tam's van it was immaculate! He is either very well trained, with an eye to the resale value or just naturally house-proud.
