dave
ps what do i need in Portugal?

We'd be up for this, but with the drive down rather than the ferry, so will have to possibly juggle dates a bit. Hopefully there may be some meets we can get to prior, will make things easier.

Now there is a little bird, who knows a good roost when he see's one.

The latest video update, with a very special guest and a final "surprise"

I, sadly, enjoyed that video. What was the surprise though? All looking good and the updates are appreciated. When do you need some financial commitment from the Funsters? Not long now till the off! Jane

Jane I too wondered what the surprise was, could it be that they will be ready by the 11th of Nov ?

Mmmmm. But what, may I ask, is a pre-opening? Jane
Come on Raimon, what is the surprise?

Well yes, that's the "surprise", that we will be opening the 11/11/11

And we have this pre-opening offer: until the end of november, 2 adults on a comfort pitch for 11€/night (leccy included) So if there is someone who is around the area and wishes to try the campsite you are more than welcome!

About Financial commitment for the rally, I guess I will be asking for it by the end of October.

I see, I see  As the Run for the Sun has started I reckon there will be one or two takers! Just do not forget, in the bustle of the day, that that is Remembrance Day so two minutes silence from 11am and a longer moment of reflection. Jane

Change in our plans on dates.......

Just found that the final MotoGP test session is at Jerez from 19th to 25th of March. I don't think anything Marjal can offer can compete with that. So a reduced meet for us.

Rex and some of the guys from Zahora went to that last year - they really enjoyed themselves!

Been thinking about this all the way back to UK, Brugge ( cute place ) to home in one very easy hop today.

It makes no financial sense to go Santander->Marjal->Jerez->back across Spain to go home via France. That's a shed load of expensive miles duplicated.

Better to ask Dame Penelope if we might be house guests early March then make our way east, though this completely misses out the Marjal meet.

Lucky B&^&&%^$%^D

That's the actual race. The test session, usually late Feb or early Mar is just that. It's a week of them just experimenting with the bikes, no crowds, dirt cheap and easy access everywhere.

I'd love to see the real races there but it often gets sold out.

jim please put me on list ill be on my own for this one grandkids at school(they live with us)

Brian, you and Dinah are welcome at our quiet little haven any time you like
Don't know how quiet it will be with all these noisy Funsters though! Can guarantee our corner will be quiet though

By the way, Here is the latest video:

On the other hand, a list update would be necessary, and soon I'll ask for some commitment...

Hi Raimon
We are settled in at the old site and will be visiting the new one with Eva on the thirteenth of Oct, surprised how quickly the pitches are being booked.
Don't forget to have a Welsh flag flying or my better half will be miffed....:Eek!:

Will you be there on the thirteenth?

Stu & Kay

Oh your Dameship, <grovel bow grovel, grovel more > you are just too kind. We hope not to let you down this time <grovel bow grovel, grovel even more >.

Does one have a dress code for a Dame Penelope soiree ? One's better half would hate to be in Cardin when her Dameship is in Laurent.

Money?:Eeek: Jane

Yes Jane! We'll ask for some deposit as we need to know how many funsters are coming in order to arrange the pitches, for you to be together, I´ll soon confirm when and how much!

Hi Stu & Kay, yes Eva told me about you. I´ll certainly be there the 13th of October (filming your visit) So see you there! :thumb:

Money!

No one told me Raimon was paying us to be there and raise the profile of the new site... How much?

JJ

Not sure yet about the amount we will pay you as a deposit, but be sure you will be paid in negative money, something like -50€

Could you please add us to the list to arrive Sunday 11th until 25th on a Comfort pitch, it sound good to us.

While suggestions/requests re Marjal are flying around may I make a request?

Please could we have a separate thread listing all the Funsters actually attending this get together and their dates... I am far too lazy to go through all those posts to find this info out and am still trying to decide whether to join in or not and if I do, when and for how long.

Obviously I need to choose a time when the fewest number of Man Utd fans, Fray Bentos Pie Haters and Daily Ma*l Readers are in attendence and when the highest number of wishy washy, liberal, do gooding left wingers are... :Rofl1: :Rofl1: :Rofl1: :Rofl1:

JJ

Hello Jim,

Apologies, but please delete us from your list of attendees for this meet.

We have decided to go inland en-route to Santander.

Billkce

Any idea yet of when we pay our deposits and what the cost of the Pitches will be, or am I being previous.:helpsos:
