Hi Funsters, 3 things I have to tell you:

1st: We won't install the electricity meters until April, so until then you will enjoy free electricity in your pitches.

2nd: We would appreciate any suggestions regarding the products you would like to see in the supermarket.

3rd: It was nice meeting Salopian and I hope to meet some other funsters in the next days.

Cheers

Raimon

Hello, I wonder if any of the Funsters or Raimon, already at Marjal, could let me know if all the tickets are sold, and if not any details as we are not arriving until the 10th, and by then it may be to late. JJ has said his people tell him that it is getting sold out.

My two penny worth !!

I just spoke with the organizer, and she says there is no problem at all with the tickets for the festival, as they are not sold in advance, you buy them on arrival. But on Friday night there is a Square dancing party which costs 3€ and on Saturday night there is another Country related party costing 6€, for this party there are still 50 tickets left, so if you want to book for any of the night parties you should contact Angie at angiemarjal@yahoo.co.uk

The supermarket is improving anyway daily but there is still a shortage of fresh meat. The only choice today was sausages or burgers. I went into Catral and bought some pork.
I would love to see some beef, preferably not in a processed or tinned format. Just plain simple beef steaks would be heaven. Very rare in all supermarkets here though.
I did call in to reception this morning but I think you were out.

Pud........A variety, all look good !

Somehow I have managed to be landed with a load of work which has eaten into my preparation time... what is worse is that I will not be able to do it all before the meet so will have to take some with me...

However, it is still going to be a BRILLIANT meet and I am really, really excited... :thumb:

Please note the Hymer won't be quite as shiny as I had planned it to be...

JJ

Strangely, weather in Eastbourne is lovely today. I've just washed two of the cars and I am quite sweaty.
