Before I comit to this exiting afternnon`s entertainment...

May I ask...

What brand of "Paint" you propose to use.. ??
IE = Dulux/Humbrol/Crown...

And what type, IE = Cellulose/Acrylic/Synthetic/Oil Based/Emulsion...

Will said wood be rubbed down and knotted should there be any knots..

Brushed or Spray Painted... and is the use of the correct Primer and undercoat being applied...

If the preperation is not carried out correctly it is a known fact that painting on bare wood takes a long time to dry and if not done properly can spoil the effect of the job..

Not wanting too be "Picky"... but I do have my standards to think of.. :thumb:

In answer to old-mo's (respected and appreciated) pedantry...

It is the paint DRYING which is the event... the wood is of no interest...

The longer the paint takes to dry the more time there is for beer...

We usually head here after the Somport tunnel. Then you can do Alicante the next day.. Watch out for the winds in that area...
Also as you come through JACA keep eyes left for a big supermarket, they have the cheapest fuel on that leg of the journey..

However, I fear that a compressor, an air gun spray and paint rollers for the detail work would be necessary !
Do they do paint in 40 litre containers ???
