Frankie, I had some problems booking via their website, sorted in the end by Raimon. It did,nt help that someone else with my name was booking at the same time.

It'd be handy nearer the time, if we knew how others were travelling,.......ie, bill and ben, 06.oo ferry dover calais on 1st march, that way we could keep an eye out for each other, or be on hand perhaps in case of probelms???? Just a thought.:Blush:

not realy brian! we were looking forward to driveing through france with kath and john,untill the reality hit me, its a 2500 mile round trip and with my temperment behind a wheel,it would be stressfull for me,and also the wife who for the whole trip would be on edge,just waiting for me to explode,it just a fact i do not like driveing,but i realy wanted to go on this trip and this is the only solution i could come up with,or not go at all,which was'nt an option.
im ok on trips of about 300 miles(just) but any more than that i get restless and just want to get the driveing over with:Sad:

We contacted them via the "contact" page on their website. We got a reply within 24 hours. So (I think) we're all booked.

You can still telephone them as I did about 2days before your visit , the tel number is on the page stating they are no longer sailing , they had then said we could have a refund ..worst scenario was we would be transferred to another line n sailing

At present they are honouring my crossing as of other day, there is a big meeting on the 12th so watch website on 13th......

I think you've just missed the boat, the discount was for orders placed before they opened. All prices are there to the right of the screen. Electricity is metered.

Send a PM or e-mail to Raimon or Nancy and explain you are a "funster" and want to join the group and ask if special rate will apply....think they will happily agree. We will be arriving Marjal on Friday or Saturday and can ask..... if you wish.

I have spoken with "those who have the power to decide stuff at Marjal" and they agreed to extend the 30% discount until the end of 2011. Also, those who decide to join the rally (no matter when), will have the 30% off, but just for the duration of the rally which is between the 5th and the 25th March 2012

Fair enough, but limiting for you.

Me, give me a fast car or bike and following is a no-no but the van changes me totally, I can calmly potter along at 60 saving fuel. The little grey cells accept the limitations.

The long way down ( through France ) to Morocco pushed my limits, something like 4000 miles and I felt it was not a holiday. After 8 days solid driving and then the "holiday" was to begin it was beginning to feel like work. The Ray's itinerary was similar, not a whole lot of time in one place, fair enough we "did" Morocco but more as an introduction to return later.

Hi Jim, I have just contacted Marjal and we will be joining the funsters on the 5th!!

We leave for Spain on the 5th February and will be spending the first few weeks near Bennicasim then moving to Marjal for the start of the rally.

We are really looking forward to meeting everybody again, it is a while since we went to Newark show for our last rally!!

10-12th March 2012 is going to be a country and western themed weekend. It is a ticket affair (chargeable) and pre bookable only. I will try and put flyer on here. Is it something that we are interested in as a group.
