There will probably be room, but depending on how "last" the last minute is, there will be or not funsters discount. Please remember that 30% discount applies for bookings made before the 15th of December.

My neighbours visited Marjal Eco last week to have a look around. They were treated exceptionally well and told to photograph and video as they liked. I saw a piece of video of the pitches at the beginning with someone stood on one of them for perspective and had the thoughts that, yes they will look fabulous in a few years when the shrubs have grown.
A second piece of the video was the site where my friends were staying. What a difference. It is a very well respected and quality site but it looked so dated and the shrubs and trees etc. looked like they could do with a bit of TLC.
In comparison, with much smaller pitches and badly parked additional cars it looked very sad against Marjal Eco. I know which one I am looking forward to staying on.
Another point that was shown was Catral, it is easily cycleable and has bars and eateries etc. if you want to get out and about. The whole area looked great.

Yes, soon, we are now renewing the restaurant´s website.

I can advance the the daily menu will cost 9.95€ It will be a 2 course meal including dessert, 1 drink and bread. Every course and dessert will have 4 choices. I translated the menus so it´s me to blame for any mistakes.

I bet you laugh good when you see the English translations of the menus abroad.

I always remember one translation I saw here about my favourite meal, arroz con costra, typical from Elche. Costra means crust, it´s a sort of oven baked rice with whipped eggs on top (which make the crust when baked) It was translated as rice with scabs, as in Spanish costra is the same word for crust and for scabs. It didn´t look very tasty in English...

John we have booked direct to Marjal (use the sponsor link ) at the time we booked the secure site for them was not working and the 50 Euro deposit was cancelled not sure if it is the same now

But only a deposit then was required , I am sure Raimon will be along shortly

If you book there is a definitive thread to fill out a form for Jim ,then he will place you on his list of who is going to Marjal

Due to the various complexities of paying by card, paypal, bank transfer etc and the associated costs incurred by both parties, Raimon has granted most of us with a special dispensation where we pay in full when we arrive. :Cool:

Weve just sent the booking off for this. Only from 5th to 12th, but better than nothing. we will be leaving the Uk from Dover on 1st, and catching a homeward ferry from calais on 15th. we are going to leave the car and trailer at home, as if there is car hire nearby, I,m sure other funsters will join us if we decide to go out somewhere. as soon as the booking is confirmed we will sign the master sheet.

... mind you, if we get there and the is no room for us it will be "the sign" that we have to "off site" park and visit the Funsters via the tunnel dug from under Jim's van to the closest point in the wire...

Hi JJ, you should book with the site at camping@marjalcostablanca.com, you pay on arrival, but it would ease things for us very much if we know the exact dates of your stay.

I think that you have to e-mail Camping Marjal and make a reservation and then get your name on Jim's list. Tell them your arrival and departure dates and that you are with MotorhomeFun. Camping fees are to be paid on arrival, no deposit required as yet.
For any problems PM Raimon at Camping Marjal, he is very helpfull.
Look forward to seeing you in sunny Spain.
