Carol I think you have to amend your booking with their reception and then you will also get the discount perhaps also Jim's definitive form

The pics n video's look great, but have been noticing how the palm trees(name?) all look like they have bent to one side from a constant wind blowing or is this the way they always are ?

Knowing that it is now November, but hope in March the winds have left

I sent an e-mail to them last Thursday asking for my stay to be extended.
I asked them to confirm the change of dates by return e-mail. As yet no reply.

Brisey I sent another one saying that could I extend then just in case we cant stay together on the plots, they said it would be no problem, I said are you sure because its easter and they said fine.

Hi Jim, could you point me to how much it will cost to stay with the funsters, price to include 2 adults, 2 small dogs, etc.

I have read through nearly all the pages but cant find a difinitive price, sorry to be a pain.

Hi Ginny & Mike

Drop a a pm to to Raimon - he's the guy who posts the pictures. Tell him how long you want to be there, pitch type ie confort and he will get back to you. Its been agreed that we dont have to pay a deposit, so you can save up between now and then.

I´ll tell reception, I guess there will be no problem. I´ll tell you when I get their confirmation.

I´ll find out why you didn´t get a reply yet, I guess your stay has been extended but they forgot to send your confirmation.

I apologise for any inconvenience, there is a lot of new staff, starting to getting used to booking procedures and all that.

We are very busy now with tomorrow's pre-opening, we´ll have more than 300 pitches occupied tomorrow :Eeek:

Interesting. What is the dark material the pitch is covered in ? Just thinking in terms of tie-downs for awning.


PS Don't get cocky over a single FUNster Raimon, on their own they are quite benign but once two or three get together it starts to get interesting and over 10 we have a criticality and anything can happen. The sun goes down, they glow in the dark. Wise people head for the shelters - FAST.

In March i would advise to take at least 1 wind/ rainproof coat, a jumper or two and full length trousers seriously. It is one of the more unsettled months and while it can be nice in the day you can quite often get a sudden heavy downpour which doesnt take long to dry, and if the wind is up it can feel cold out when out in the open, come 4pm though it will get chilly for the night more so if its been a nice clear day with a clear starry sky at night

Hi Ginny, I´m sorry I missed your post before, I've been told not to give quotes, unless they tell me do do so (because I messed up once :Doh:) Please contact reception directly for any quotes and bookings issues at camping@marjalcostablanca.com don´t forget to say you are a funster.
