Yes you can.

My PVC is plated at 4.25T and I was charged as Class 2 on numerous toll roads in France this year.
They won’t accept those , it has to be an IBAN number and BIC , some ordinary banks will allow it but most of us are using Revolut, Starling or Caxton.
It’s something to do with SEPA payments on U.K. bank accounts and whether or not your bank accepts them. Even if it does you may get charged for Euro payments so dedicated cards like Starling Monzo Revolut or Wise etc probably better.

We are traveling at the beginning of January from Santander to near Lagos Portugal we have plenty of time to get to Lagos so any suggestions and tips on route would be appreciated

i set up with Barclays. No issues. but when sorted will transfer to another account that does not have foreign transaction fees. Which I have just opened.
Mine has gone through now, but I had problems with the banking arrangements. It wouldn't accept Santander and I tried both sort code /account no and also IBAN code.
So tried Lloyds. Wouldn’t accept sort/ account details. So then had to track down an IBAN code which after a lot of messing about I found.
It then went through ok.

Have just signed up for the deal, thank you to carolyn for sharing the detail .
Reading through the thread there seemed to be a range of problems met by some of those trying to sign up for the deal. In my case , I was using my mobile ( android) and no matter how many times I tried , it just categorically refused to accept the ' city' name on the set up page ,so I couldn't even reach the payment stage.
Switched to using a windows laptop and the whole process went through 1st time , start to finish. No idea what was going on with the android mobile set up.

Yes I had same problem, tried using my Monzo Account with the sort code etc, in the end I used Revolut with an IBAN number, IBAN stands for International Bank Account Number, in Revolut I went on International payment in which it had my IBAN number, hope this helps, good luck.

You’re right about Monzo, I googled it and although you have a BIC number there is no IBAN number . How strange. You tend to take it for granted with a currency card for use overseas. Sorry to mislead you.
Don't be sorry, not mislead at all, some UK banks don't make easy to find the IBAN number, something to do with Britexit maybe ?

I'm still looking at this and finding it confusing. Can you not set it up to take the money from a credit card? I haven't tried to apply yet as I've found the FAQs somewhat limited. Many thnkas
I've never heard of an IBAN number. Is this some mean plot from our ghastly banks to keep us all ignorant, the ones who are deserting our lovely high streets? I don't mind admitting I'm ignorant!

It’s nothing new, International Bank Account Number, used when transferring money across borders.
Just another form of your existing bank account number with sort code and account number which is used in the UK .
Having had sister and family in Sweden since 1960s, I am well used to it. Thankfully now can make money transfers free with modern accounts like Revolut, used to, and still does, cost a lot to use banks like Nat West.

They don’t seem to allow a credit card, that why most of us using Revolut or Starling or others that have fee free money transfers with Euro wallets.

If you want one that accepts a credit card then you could consider ATMB, many of us have been using their tags for years, they only work in France though.
No you can’t set it up to take money from a credit card. Has to be a bank account.
We use it with a credit card . Have had the tag for a few years now ,maybe things have changed.
Originally setup with a Post Office credit card which then changed to Jaja.

Must have changed, those of us with ATMB were used to having it linked to a credit card, but no go with Mango.

Just checked my account , which was APRR and is now Mango, and I have the option to use a credit card or switch to Iban Direct Debit .

I am away later next week so hoping it comes in time. Otherwise, unless it fits through the letter box, it will not get delivered and possibly reurned to the supplier.

only got a few days left before the off but had no mail the last couple of days.

obviously Royal Mail issues. If you are unfortunate and get it delivered after you have left and someone (kid etc) can send it to my address, I can bring it out so you can at least use on the way back?

Has anyone had a successful payment to Mango from a Starling euro account via direct debit please? If so did you have to inform your bank or did you just fill out the details on the Mango website?
I originally used my First Direct account iban which was accepted by their website but then failed when they tried to take the initial 1 euro. Just dont want to go through the effort of opening a Starling account only to find the same thing happening later
