It was a bit of an effort to get sorted as Mango wouldn't allow me to link a Santander account. I therefore opened a Revolute and all is well.
I've had a Sanef tag for probably 20 years or so and its been faultless, but expensive, especially in recent years for some reason.
Fingers crossed this one will be ok. Worth a go in any event.

Yes done that and its not having it, did account number but that no worky
Checked my card settings and they are all set to on so no restrictions in place!!

Yep that’s the one, even looked at the £ and € accounts and they have the same IBAN number, very strange.

I was worried for a minute as I hadn‘t noticed the Local and Swift bit on the Revolut screen for the IBAN and BIC numbers so I have double checked and they are exactly the same anyway!

Your £ account shouldn’t have an IBAN or BIC number, it should have an account number and sort code like your Lloyds or Natwest for instance. It only has the IBAN on the SWIFT bit of the £ account.

Would it be worth you trying again on a different device like someone else did? It was BikerGraham , he was successful on his phone after struggling for a while.

yes was using an old macbook air and having issues. Think its the browser version that was the problem. Tried on my iPhone which is always up to date and everything went through perfectly.

Mine was straightforward using uk postcode and uk bank account IBAN. Would not accept account no etc though.

We are away on Thursday for a trip over but don’t need it really until May as off to Portugal then and it will save slowing down

Its not only the slowing down, for us and I expect carolyn, in a PVC, the card slot for cars is too low (particularly as the Ducato window doesn’t go all the way down), and the HGV slot is too high to reach, so I would normally have to get out.

Its not only the slowing down, for us and I expect carolyn, in a PVC, the card slot for cars is too low (particularly as the Ducato window doesn’t go all the way down), and the HGV slot is too high to reach, so I would normally have to get out.

Partly the reason I have ordered one, mrs. jb does French worse than me so if the first toll didn’t go well the whole day would be stressful and that’s not good on jollydays

Thanks Carolyn, Just ordered, had a few problems with order form but got there in the end, my ATMB is now 6 years old and not used since 2018 so I think battery will be flat so I will send it back for return of deposit.

I thought our battery had given up the ghost on this last trip and was resigned to using a card, about to get out we had been stationary a few seconds, when suddenly bip and up went the barrier. After that each one was quicker.
We also discovered that you can use any lane, not just the ones with a t overhead. We came across one set of booths with height barriers on all the t lanes so had to use the one marked with a card sign. Again, resigned to getting out, the tag went bip and off we went.

I think I might just keep mine until the new one proven. I got mine in 2018 too and it has been stuck on the windscreen through extreme heat and quite a bit of cold weather . It still worked last month though !

Think details will be with your account details when they send your tag I have had the same.

I cannot remember if I paid a deposit, I certainly cannot find anywhere on website about getting one back.

Same here. It states you can also use customer number, however I haven't been able to locate one. Perhaps this'll be sent in due course.

Exactly Annie, it’s a right pain. I’m surprised you have to get out as you’re so tall with long arms. You do have to be very careful with positioning though. We only usually end up having to get out if the credit card fails as happened a few times in Italy and we ended up paying cash and then couldn’t reach the thing to get the change. What a palaver! Mind you we are vertically challenged.

We had a nightmare on our first French toll, pulled up and stuck the Revolut card in and it wouldn’t work tried a few times, then said to Mrs CC get your credit card out obviously this was followed by (what seemed like)hours of negotiation, tried that and that wouldn’t work
By this time the French convoy behind we starting to revolt and horn blasting started, gave them my universal hand sign reply for such these occasions and the horn blasting increased to include shouting also
Reluctantly I used my debit card that I hate using on public machines and we went through, just as well as I Could not get out as there was a high fence both sides of the narrow toll lane and not enough room to swing the door open, then again I may have been stabbed if I had ventured outside by the rather aggressive drivers behind me
Strange as after that one my Revolut seem to work on French and Italian tolls ok??

Says our Bank (NW doesn't accept SEPA Payments.

It wouldn't accept the alt. of sort code and account No as well.

Any ideas?

Google whether your bank will complete such payments. Each bank is different. I believe NW will make payments normally from current accounts via SEPA.
