LIFE AFTER HELGA !!!!

They have been advertising for brickies in sunny hunny recently. A lot of new places being built old Hunstanton side of town. Might be ok for a couple of weeks till you’re fixed up

Nice to hear from you again Ian, glad you are keeping well.
It has certainly been a strange time and looks like continuing that way for a considerable time yet.
Keep safe and be sure to keep posting on here.
Val (3dogs)

Good to hear you're OK Ian, we were speaking about you only yesterday (all good of course).
I think you're living a life very similar to many of us, every day seems the same as the one before. The most important decision we have to make most days is "what's for dinner"
Hope you get back to work soon and can get yourself a nice van to convert.

Karen & Brian xx

Good to see your post Ian. :giggle:

You aren't alone, not doing a lot at the moment. I suspect there are quite a few of us in that boat at the moment. ;)

Glad you're OK - hopefully not too long until the weather improves...

Stay safe. (y)

Cheers, Mike

Good afternoon Ian glad to hear about the Tenancy though I did not doubt you would get it.
As others have said I think we are all treading water, very strange but at least there is light at the end of the tunnel
Post now and then it's nice to know you are ok even if it's not very exciting at the moment.

Nice to hear from you, Ian. We are all locked up too so hearing your even mini adventures helps cheer us all.

Great to hear your ok Ian,,keep posting and stay safe,BUSBY.

Afternoon,,, well another day looking at walls and tv,,, I think there’s gonna be lots of mental health dramas and problems after all this settles down! And homelessness,,and unemployment,,, I fear for many people!

I’ve actually cancelled my tv license now, as I spend most of my viewing time on Netflix, Amazon prime and YouTube,, I havnt missed terrestrial tv at all so far!

so,, it’s a bit wet and miserable here in blofield today,, not raining now but just damp and bland!!

I’m beginning to seize up a bit, not working, the old arthritis is getting its own back! Lolol. I try to do a bit of exercise like walking, jumping around my kitchen singing, done a bit of painting,, but it gets slightly harder to motivate myself every day! It’s a bloody good job I spent that time in Helga, that’s really helped me to be in my own company!

Vilma asked me if I could take a parcel back to Argos for her, a curtain pole with missing pieces, so I did that, and that was nice for an hour,,,, the girl that served me had a lovely pair of eyes, very smiley, but for all I know she could just have had wind!!! Lol

so, a bit of a clean up in the flat and another day hits the dust,, hope your all well, and staying safe! Xxxxxx

Ian.
“The old arthritis“
My stepfather used to say “every pound you earn in the building trade comes out of your bones”
At 25 working as a joiner it never really meant much but he was right🙄
Used to love the banter with the brickies in the brew rooms in them days
generally a few blocks and a couple of planks😎

Evening Ian,

Sorry you've got a bit of the 4SqWalls Blues..... but having met you and looking at your avatar pose.......

I reckon if you donned a Stavros Flatley type wig, you could give Joe Wickes a good run on a daytime TV fitness show! ::bigsmile: ::bigsmile:

Anyone any good with Photoshop to show Ian what he could be missing out on?::bigsmile:

Take care Ian(y)

Hi Ian, glad to hear your ok.
Set yourself a target and do regular walks around the village / town, enjoy the nature around you and the scenery, chat to anybody thats around, tell them a few gags.
Do that every day and you`ll feel much better about life and your joints will thank you (y)

Do you like dogs, if so, get yourself one and take it for walks, it’s surprising who stops to talk to you, if you get my drift.😉
Maybe not such a good idea for when Ian is out at work all day and the dog’s shut in. Often not practical to take on site.

Ian, hi hadn’t seen any of your posts for a while, have caught up now!
Have you had the C jab?
I hope you are coping with all this lazing around, see if you can get a hobby going.

Not more dogs,,cant move for them here when the weather is ok.Funny you dont see them when its cold and wet. I fear for their wellfare when Covid is over and people are all back at work..Great opportunities for dog walkers then.BUSBY.

Agreed.

Weve had dogs for 40 years and they are a joy,but people under-estimate the commitment needed to look after them properly.

Lots of strangers walking their dogs here now,and this morning one has done a dump right by our front gate........thanks t**t dog owner owner!!!!!
