LIFE AFTER HELGA !!!!

Good evening,,, it was bloody freezing this morning,,, Today I went to B@Q early, with Vilma and she bought enough laminate flooring for two of the kids bedrooms,, only took me and her son (14 ys old) 3 hrs to do both,, kids are very happy!!

ok, my tree is still a work in progress,, over the next few days I’m sure I will get it just as I want it! But even having it up and not finished makes it feel nice and Christmassy in the lounge!! Lol.

hope your all well and keeping warm! Xxxx

Well done Ian, you have been working hard & deserve a good rest so put your feet up.
Great to see you are posting again, it keeps us inspired and encourages us to get our finger out on the DIY front.
I hope that you will get another moho at some point in the future, maybe do your own sprinter conversion, (y) no rush though, plenty of time, but it would be great to see you at some Fun Rallies, a lot of them are up your way.

Like the tree, trouble is the bigger they are, the more lights you need on em.
Got to ask as its been a few years since we got a real one, how much a foot are they these days,? I think the last one we got was £2 a foot, bet its more than that these days.

We are not doing any decs at home,(Bah Humbug):giggle: as we are normally away for xmas & new year in the van, well for the last 3 years since we got it, long haul before that, going to be a shock if we cannot manage it this year.:(
Have a good tele binge out & some decent grub you will feel better for it.
Best wishes.
Les & TinaL

It is absolutely right to leave the tree in the room undressed for a few days, so the branches can settle and not get damaged. Don't forget that it will need water every couple of days

We used to buy the broader leafed Douglas Fir type ones years ago, they didn't drop many pines at all, and lasted well into January. (y)
Until you striped off the decs to chuck it out:eek:
Have fun.
LES

Good afternoon,, and I hope your all ok,,

Well I’m leading a very univentfull life at present,,, havnt started work since before Xmas and although I like a bit of time off, this all just feels a bit different,,,

I have work to do this year, but no one is committed to a time yet,, both the weather and COVID are a distraction! Hopefully after all the jabs people might open up a bit!!

I go out around once a week, just shopping, and I still take my neighbour, wich is always nice,,, and now and again I just get in the van and go for a drive,,,

i have just been told about poor anthea, and that’s such a shame,, although I never met her really , she always said hello on the thread and took an active part in my travels, as did many others on here!

I hooe to be busy enough this year so I can get a van and convert it, for a bit of travel etc, but we shall see how work goes!!

Anyway, it’s lovely to catch up,, have a smashing week, and I shall talk to you soon! Xxxxxxxxx. Missing you all !! Xxxx
