Well good afternoon,,

I’m just back from golf! It was the first game I’ve had for about 5 years! It was fantastic!!

I played like a no armed man, but I thoroughly enjoyed it! Great value!

Couple of grizzles,, couldn’t putt to save my life and because it’s a pay and play, lots of ball dents etc on greens, that people don’t repair,, but enjoyable non the less,,, it’s a pretty forgiving course, not hard either, just perfect for someone like me, returning to the game after a break! All I have to do is put 3 cards in for my handicap, or six cards if I only play 9 holes! Yes a lovely day was had by me!!

Glad you enjoyed it Ian. You will soon get your eye in again.
What a change in lifestyle, no longer an itinerant.......you will be out buying yourself some plus fours soon and a Pringle sweater (other makes are available). Oh, don't you have to have some of those fancy two tone shoes too? What a dandy figure you will cut lol :giggle:

Ok,, good afternoon,,, I need your help or advice!!
My van insurance is up on the 17 th of this month, and it has risen in price by nearly 50% from £420 to 610 is the new quote,,, now I’m not happy so I’m going to move it! Is there a company out there that will take my no claims from the Motorhome or indeed any recommendations for a commercial van ins company? Cheers! Xxxx

Hello mate, I can’t see any reason why your motorhome no claims cannot carry over, just email your mh insurer and ask for written proof
Stay safe -Keith

Try starting at moneysavingexpert,I think there are some van specialists on there.
You could also try one of the insurance brokers in Norwich.
I guess the main risk (apart from your crap driving ;)) is the theft risk for the van contents.......tools etc. Do you keep much in it? If not you might save a lot by not insuring the contents.

I have insured my motors through Admiral they gave me a mirrored no claims discount on my van and pick up I bought.
Plus just got the £25 rebate per vehicle with them and Mrs CC got her £25 as I have insured her car with them for about 50% cheaper than here other company.

Just renewed with Admiral, VW Caddy Maxi, 15,000 miles a year, two named drivers, parked on driveway, price was a splash over £200 for the year, inc protected no-claims.

Worth a look as I see Coastal Cruiser. also has suggested them

Good morning,,,

got van insurance sorted, went with AXA in the end, decent price, and alls good so thanks!!

ok, back in the real world this morning,, after five rounds of golf I find myselfhaving to go to work! How inconvenient!! Lol.

start a large 55 sq mtrs patio today, cutting and removing lots of concrete and doing prep for the slabs, which arrive on Monday,, well grey slate actually! I have help today in the small but perfectly formed Stewart! It will be good to catch up and I’m sure have a chuckle!

The job is a recommendation from a funster on here for his good mate,,, I shall update with pics etc as I go, but I’m expecting it to be a good weeks work, at least!!

so, have a good day, I hope your all well and staying safe,, chat later! Xxxxx

Looking at the door jam, I am guessing the concrete level was close to the height of the DPC.

The old boy who owned our property before us laid loads of concrete and having built up the ground levels around the house to reduce any steps, decided to use the airbricks as the drainage channels.... :giggle:

Well it’s been a quiet weekend,,

just getting organised for tomorrow at work, t bags, sugar etc, lol.
Just watching news on sky,, those protesters in London , shocking, animal behaviour! Not really doing their cause any favours! My personal opinion,,

I think the violence only turns people against them! Animals,,,

anyway, my sleep pattern is still all over the place,, but I’m going to try to get some kip now,, but I have been getting up about 2 am. Every morning,,, God knows when I can sort it out! Chat tomorrow! Xxx

Be aware that several of the videos the media are showing claiming to be from today actually are not .....few posts on Facebook showing the exact same clips and pics from another incident.

But in general I agree some of the actions dont help

Although pulling down statues of slave traders and throwing them in the river

Well I think they should have been removed before.....so its saved the council a job 😁

here is a pic of what I achieved this morning,, now I am also doingall my own labouring now, so it does take longer,, but at least I made a start! Hope your all well? XxxF980E330-82BC-4B86-A221-A39C85A9B871.jpegF74608DA-5D0E-4B0B-9742-2D3BB67BCC36.jpeg
