Lenny's Search for Winter Sun

Head south mate. We left nearly 3 weeks ago and can't believe the sunshine. Vouvray.. Lussac... Via mont de marsan... Nice lake near Vitoria Gasteiz then followed North Portugal from Braganca to the coast and back down to Douro Port Country... Bloody marvellous so far.

Have a good trip, weather is great after last year. We are not going that far west as we have to be at Campirama for the 26th. If we had more time it would have been nice to meet up again.

They could have ironed it.:(
Whilst your in Amposta there is another Aire alongside the river near the town.
On the opposite side of the river, a short walk across the bridge there is a really nice restaurant, with great views from the first floor dining area.

Free Loading Tossser. Some one who stops in their motorhome without paying for anything. But we are not allowed to say that anymore.

just found your thread, already following Tam, so now will have to stay up later to get time in on Pc! Keep up the good work.

Sorry @Lenny HB. Not been paying attention. :(

Been too busy today trying to keep the van in a vaguely straight line, with the wind blowing a hooley, while we head from Cite Europe to La Mailleraye.

Anyway, back to the competition.
Posh, funny shaped plates, squiggles of jus on the plates, table cloth (un-ironed so deduct €5) and wine. Bearing in mind it's Spain and Lenny delights in being a F*T it won't be as expensive as it looks.
€41. Final bid.

Richard.

I call us affectionately F L T's when we're parked up somewhere off site. The difference with us is that we go well away from other motorhomes and buildings when we overnight. I really hope that this parking doesn't get hit by any future regulations brought about by the problems caused by the hordes on the coastal/city areas.

Quite agree, when you see washing hanging out and empty car trailers and rubbish, you can understand why the locals get feed up.
Reasonable F.L.T fine but as usual it’s the ‘I’ll park where I like’ minority
That screw it up for the rest.

P.S. Really enjoying this, some great stops.

Drove over to the north side of the delta, walked a few miles through the nature reserve.

Greater Egret.

Nice spot at Deltebre by the river for the night, avrrived too late to get a riverside pitch. One other Brit couple here, had a chat with them quite friendly invited them over for a drink and they brought the booze over - result.

That's us over at the back.

Great White Egret and Red-crested Pochard Lenny, Eiders are a Northen marine duck and a rarity as far South as Yorkshire.
Thanks, local info boards had Eiders on them, but Pochard not mentioned, looked like the Eiders on the board but not like the ones in our books.
