That reminded me of many soggy tenting hols with the wife, three kids and the dog in Cornwall when the locals told me that it was glorious the week before I arrived or would be wonderful the week after I left.

Coordinates are wrong that is just a car park we are at the Aire an open field opposite the cemetery, signposted as you enter the village, photos in CC are correct but not the coordinates.

Google earth shows it next too car park and camper contact both need to get there act together

We had our rain last night just cloudy now, a little rain at lunchtime tomorrow then ok. So it could be worth heading south Lenny.

It's been raining here in Gruissan all morning but seems to be stopping now.
The aire is a bit like a swamp though.
We badly need the sun back to dry it out.

Looks like it's just been moved walking around the village I noticed all the signs were just printed and laminated.
Takes a few mins to walk in but a nice open space with room for loads of vans. Also in the car park the trees looked a bit low.

On google it shows as parking ombrage, shaded parking !!

To avoid the confusion following the relocation, the site owners have placed a thong on the Entrance Gate. The locals refer to it as the Aire on a G String ...

Had wander around Charroux this morning.

Now at Orcines in the Massif Central, used to be a small pretty 5 van Aire that's now gone and a big new Aire with 57 places in two sections, nice big spaces but lacks the character of the old one. The old one was free this one €6 +TT (€8 in summer).
We were the only ones when we arrived, 12 in tonight.

Us on the old Aire in 2010.

Had a little hike up to Puy de Pariou this afternoon.

They started building that in 2010, horrible over commercilation of a lovely area. We walked up there in 2010 nowhere near as nice as the other mountains.
