Lenny's on the Road again

First Restaurant's, and now a campsite what are you doing to us Lenny. You will be telling us next you have been on a toll road, what is happening to you, first time away in over a year and you have thrown caution to the wind, and your FLT status right out of the window. Things will have to change or Tam will be taking your crown.

Great pics, Lenny.
Those nadgery and quiet backstreets with their higgledy-piggledy crusty buildings, ancient doors and hinges and Moorish influence are one of the major attractions for me (France much the same). I've never really understood why we don't have similar villages in the U.K. Sure we have some rural crofts and hamlets but those remaining medieval and Tudor streets in towns and villages are more often than not 'museum pieces' and bijou art shops, boutique chocolate shops, estate agents, takeaways and pubs. I guess that to planning departments any 'old and uninteresting' buildings have been replaced with flats. I suppose with the U.K. housing shortage there's more value in the land for new development rather than keeping the existing traditional buildings. Such a shame.

Didn't get as far as we hoped today, wasted over an hour getting some LPG, went to Le'Leclerc outskirts of Pau. Had greif connecting the gun spent ages then found the pump wasn't working. So had to go to the other side of Pau to the Auchan in rush hour. Filled with 36 Lt so still had 20 Lt left could of got home on that.

Now at Arzacq-Arraziguet, the illuminated shop behind us is the Boulangerie so OK for brekies.

All the places you have been pale into insignificance opposed to a French carpark outside a boulinger, for me. (y) :giggle:

Did find in the morning in daylight there is space for 3 vans by the Bourn away from the cars but that area had big puddles.

Only one shop in the village a takeaway Pizzeria, nice young running it and they were very busy, oh well saved cooking.
