Have you visited Les Maisons Satie. It’s the former home of Erik Satie the French composer, now it’s a museum. A very surreal place to visit.
Didn't go in as I had the dog with me. Maybe next time. Heard a piece by him on Classic fm the other day which reminded me of Honfleur.

Lenny I've got a picture of that mid-terrace in need of a bit of upgrading. 🙂

cyberyacht sorry mate but making light of the death and destruction of the first world war is simply not on and particularly just before the 11th.
100's of thousands of ordinary blokes sent to die without a thought from the generals miles behind the front lines probably while eating a nice meal like Lenny just had.

Lenny has definitely won the lottery and not told any of us. New patios and cladding at home, splashing out on campsites and meals over the last few weeks while away.

lighten up , Your reply was even more extreme than cyberyacht post , it was just a bit of humour 😰

End of another trip, sitting on the boat now.
Coming down the hill to the port lorries queued up half way up the hill, so I managed to do a 3 point turn back up the road through the village, funny how I didn't notice the no entry over 3.5t & into the port the other way past the Aire.

Only about 4 hours then a ½ hour drive home.

Safe journey Lenny, thanks for sharing really enjoyed it, 😉 and like you gained weight daily. 😁 Bob.
Me gain weight that doesn't happen with me, got to keep to the 75kg driver limit for driving the Motorhome.

Thanks for sharing Lenny it was a great read and really useful as we plan our first trip to France next year!

At the very least I'll know what style of shorts not to wear and how much I should be paying for dinner!! ::bigsmile: ::bigsmile: ::bigsmile:

Thanks for the thread. Been great reading about your travels and looking at the pics. (y)
Get home put the kettle on, hide your wallet away and pretend all those meals out and campsites were a bad dream. We know you loved every minute of it really.(y)
