Lenny's off again Germany, then wherever

Very quiet and peaceful here, last night would have been apart from a westfailer next to us with a poxy diesel heater running all night. God knows why we never had and heating on and our van didn't drop below 19° all night.
Diesel heaters need banning if even manufacturers can't install them properly with decent silencers.

Rant over.

From looking at that Packaging picture Lenny, you were short changed, The Sweet Breads were missing ;)
Would loved to have seen my TinaL's face if I presented a dinner to her as shown in the picture, it would have gone cold and shrunk a lot, by the time we stopped laughing at it.

I take it you didnt have any tomatoes in stock, for full effect.;):giggle:

I am a bit surprised about the impression of the French attitude to disability. We found people to be very conscious of disability. Liam uses a stick in supermarkets wand we were very humbled to find on several occasions people inviting him to go in front of them at the checkouts despite them having to put back all their groceries. Also when he used his stroller in towns he was given plenty of room even in crowded markets. Mind you that was probably self preservation - he can be a bit gung ho with it ::bigsmile:
I must admit I do like their signs on parking spaces for people with disabilities - if you take my place please take my disability - probably not pc now but I like the sentiment.

You have misunderstood my posting, the French are a very courteous people by nature and treat people whether disabled or not according to the cirumstances. It is quite normal here at the Check Out to allow someone with a few items of shopping to go before you.

In France, unlike the UK, it is not easy to get a 'Blue Badge' and you have to be truly disabled to get one. As a result you do not see that many of them and therefore less abuse of the system unlike the UK.

I guess you would have asked already Lenny, but is it possible to buy a Carthago direct, out the showroom at Carthago City? eh?, nudge as good as a wink to a blind bat.
Well don't ask, don't get, so they say, plus they have a servicing facility, but I guess they don't offer a service on the oily bits, but there again, maybe they do, :unsure:which would make a trip to Germany, with my own packed lunch on board well worth while. (y) :giggle:
Glad to see you found some decent imported red wine, spoil a good dinner otherwise.:wine:
Happy Travels.

Ours is virtually silent but has silencers on both inlet and exhaust.
