I’ve done these places a few times and still haven’t come across half the stuff in your pics, how the bloody hell do you find them??
I don’t think I’m cut out for this motorhoming lark, I seem to miss everything🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️
Need to take lessons from your elders son.

The Minster has the highest church steeple in Europe, like most things we visit partly under scaffolding.
All new buildings around the Munster we must have done a good job of flattering the old ones but they don't distract form the area, feels calm and relaxed.

Anyway found a curry house with a sign outside, Monday to Saturday buffet €11.90 that was enough to break her risilance, until I translated it properly it was lunch buffet.

See that you're washing it down with a can of Lidl's finest Steam Brew. I'm very partial to that, especially the Imperial IPA. Shame that they don't import the full Steam Brew range to UK stores.

Found something I'd really missed out on in the past Lidl Gins are the same price in Germany as Spain. I might be a bit over the limit on the way home.

What are the seats for outside that scaffolded church I wonder, Scaffold appreciation society I wonder.
I reckon Bobnick was well into Meccano as a kid, I bet he used to build a house or a bridge out of Lego, then put a Meccano scaffold arround it.
Then I found this, yes its still available, but this was a real discovery for him.

You are only right

Reading your concern on German food I thinkyour going to the wrong place to eat ,we’ve been going 50years and found good places to eat.the traditional taverns have definitely gone down hill but the good hotels are still 1st class but you have to pay for exelent food and service eg Rothenburg 2meals 4glasses of best Frankenstein wine 70 euro Nordligen 2Pizza 2glass of best German Weiss Biere 47euro you pay your money and get your choice👍

This is the trouble with Germany, they really don’t do disability…🤷🏼‍♂️ I think they put disabled people in institutions or get rid at birth…😆
The water outlet was similar, you would probably cope with it but most disabled wouldn't.

The Stellaplatz was next to the sauna but the boss has gone off them, if I'd gone on my own I'd have felt a bit of a perv so we went for a bike ride.

Guess where we are now.

Same here in France, if you can walk you are not disabled. My neighbour is classified as 'Disabled' and not permitted to drive a car, he hasn't driven a car for the last ten years but as he can walk from the Car Park, however far it is from the Entrance, he does not consider himself disabled and would strongly object to being parked in a 'Disabled Parking' space for his convenience; Self Respect?

These 'spaces' are commonly called 'Anglais Parking' here during the summer months by the 'Locals' when 'Blue Badges' proliferate. I have tried parking in Tesco and Sainsbury with a legitimate 'Blue Badge' holder complete with wheelchair; never got near a so called 'Blue Badge' reserved parking space. Never seen so many athletic Disabled People, or people willing to spend ten minutes queing to grab a 'Blue Badge' parking space.

I am a bit surprised about the impression of the French attitude to disability. We found people to be very conscious of disability. Liam uses a stick in supermarkets wand we were very humbled to find on several occasions people inviting him to go in front of them at the checkouts despite them having to put back all their groceries. Also when he used his stroller in towns he was given plenty of room even in crowded markets. Mind you that was probably self preservation - he can be a bit gung ho with it ::bigsmile:
I must admit I do like their signs on parking spaces for people with disabilities - if you take my place please take my disability - probably not pc now but I like the sentiment.
