Lenny's Looking for Some Sunshine

Still at Camping Rio Jara rain started around 9 am and there’s been heavy showers all day, raining heavily as I write.

Someone spotted that Teruel was in the gide books so it must be worth a visit.
So I got dragged over 2 miles on me hoofs to the town and a few more hours being dragged round.

Took the shortest route - mistake after we descended a big hill and claimed back up to town only to find if we had kept to the main road we could have just walked over either the old or new viaduct or taken the lift from the residential area to the town centre.

Past Teruel dozens of times but never gave it a thought to have a look around. Alway's imagine it to be more industrial.
On the old road it seems like through industrial estate.

We finally got away from Teruel at 4:30 so much for stopover and an early start. So we just went straight to Zaragoza.

Arrived the Aire and there was a Funster van parked right behind us it was Scotchbonnet . We had a plesent evening with Ian and Bev, introduced them to No. 43, I think they went off searching the supermarkets for some.
Nice to meet you both.

Now at Berriozara just north of Pamplona.
For those that don't know this Aire it looks like a road but it's a road to nowhere they turned into an Aire with services. It's free apart from the two weeks in July when the bull running is on. It's very quiet apart from Motorhomes only locals park up here access the allotments.

There is a nice walk up the hillside with wood carving at the side of the path we did that last time we were here.

The weather here atm is perfect, check out the greenery and the blue skies. The recent rain though has woken up rivers (and waterfalls) that haven't flowed for years.

What did you carve? A heart with an arrow through it and both your initials

Things are looking up getting a bit warmer, forecast for Sunday 25°.
I thought that was still the middle of winter to you Lenny! 😄 Will you have a paddle board kit tree like my kayak kit tree? 😊
