Lenny's Looking for Some Sunshine

Spent the day Swinging had a great time.

Walked up to the old town and found this.

Swing music and Lyndy Hop dancing well it would have been rude not to join in so of course we did.

After nearly an hours dancing we went off for Tapas for lunch.

And then back for loads more dancing, then walked down to beach near the harbour and along to the town beach had a break for cocktails, beer for me.

Then walking back some more swing dancers had just set up by the beach, would have been rude not to join in so of course we did.

Knackered now what with dancing on paving for over 2 hours that's not plesent and walking over 7 miles on paving.

€23.50. I would have enjoyed that and the Indian 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Love Javea. Something for everyone, either in the old town, the port, or the beach area. Would highly recommend Restaurant Cajita Azul in the old town. Great food and very reasonably priced.

Green asparagus? Tinned or bought locally? :)
Fresh, bought in Lidl I think.
When I had some in the Chinese the other night I discovered I like asparagus, I don't like it boiled or steamed.
Also found out about a month ago leeks fried in butter are delicious.

Javea is growing on us but it's just a seaside town.
I do get fed up with all the Techno music blasting out of all the bars and restaurants. Close your eyes and you would think you were on the Ko Sang Road in Bangkok.

Try it brushed with olive oil and grilled - ideally on the plancha or BBQ for a smokey flavour - and served with shavings of Parmesan/Pecorino and a sprinkle of sea salt. Great with a good steak and fries. (y)

At least you don't get "Tuk Tuk" "Tuk Tuk", every 2 seconds in Javea, or " You very nice man, I give you special price".

Lenny, are they sheepskin partial covers on your driver and passenger seats ?
If so, can you say where they're from please.

Just sheepskins fron Dunelm Mills should have bought the double ones to completely cover the seats.

My daughter sorts them out she lives there.

Linda and I have been going to Javea every since 1981 so we know why it has it's own appeal. Be there again in 3 weeks.

Mijhan's bike played up and stopped working on Saturday looks like an intermittent connection on the motor. I had a spline bit to get the crank bolt undone but couldn't get the crank off to remove motor cover without a crank puller.

So today started off with a visit to the bike shop, their diagnostics is reporting two motor and a battery error and the guy has contacted Bosh. I still reckon its a dodgy connection.

Anyway moved just up the road to Lynne Roy favourite place.
