Just left Cahors today. 3 spaces at the Aire ( all full) and about 30 vans in the nearby carpark. We has a nice visit but for our overnight stay we have headed East along the Lot. Bit cloudy bit nice and warm. Rain forecast, but we're heading back towards Dieppe anyway. The Aire by the river is nicer & free but I ly about 6 spaces we got one last time, the car park was full of old wrecks.
At least you don't need secateurs for the brambles though. I keep meaning to put a pair in the van.Lazy day today didn't set off until nearly 1pm. Now at one of our favourite stop overers, Courville-sur-Eure. Didn't get a hedged pitch but hay ho it's free what's not to like.

Only use them for wheel chocks. If you ate some of those fray bentos pies stashed in the larder cupboard that will reduce your payload

I'm sorry I've no idea. Unless it was a camabert type with a blue cheese centre and if it was morbier cheese.Only use them for wheel chocks.
My cooking must be an embarrassment to you.
What was the name of that delicious French cheese you had at Hereford?
Best I can do so far.
Post #220 onwards on this thread covers what I thought were the best bits of the Lot when we drove it from end to end. There's an aire at St Cirq Lapopie. We intended to visit it on this trip but missed by a hundred kilometres or so as we headed south! Was thinking about spending a few days in the Lot as we always drive through it not visited it for over 30 years, Portugal is out due to the fires.
Yep, he stopped and then carried on and I had at least 3 cars behind me.That's daft, He could easily have waited 5 seconds to let you out. That's the for you.
That's the oneif it was morbier cheese.
Actually they doThat's the one
I hope Lidl have it can't afford to shop anywhere else in France.
It's 2000 watts but when you turn it down it doesn't pluse at full power like some do.Lenny, what wattage is the hot plate?

That would have been fine for uncle Lenny HB he doesnβt like it too hot and of course he could have tested the insulation in the new van! Win winJust arrived in Germany and at Berchesgarden to visit Eagles Nest. Went online to book tickets and it says closed until 25 th due to heavy snowfall !!
I wondered how long it would be until you turned the conversation to your favourite subject-fishing!This trip is getting boring another place we have stopped at a couple of times before.
Now just outside the village of Luant a free Aire behind a little restaurant by a fishing lake.
