Lenny's Heading South, not a Clue Where.

hi so you used nearly 6ltrs of adblue over 1000 miles? ,I'm on my first AdBlue van ,and its done 1000 miles, i thought it would use less than that ,,do you just keep topping it up? or do you have to get a warning to add more ,,?
I’d say that is fairly normal, even quite good.

We top up every 1000 miles or so whenever we see an AdBlue pump. It’s a lot cheaper and less messy. We also always top up using a pump before setting off on a long journey. Fortunately there is a garage with one not far from us.

A summary, 3 Countries, 3,350 miles, 24.5mpg (computer says 25.2), Ad Blue approx 5.8Lt/1000 miles.
MPG a lot lower than expected but the van goes well, I did try it in ECO mode a few times but never lasted more than 20 min, it was horrible.

Love the map tracking - what app?

MS Autoroute, I haven't heard that mentioned for a long time. Many moons ago we used to run that on a laptop with a plug in GPS receiver, that was the days before satnavs.
I used to run a version on my Psion 3A

thanks ,,so you can just top up when you get the chance ,,i wasn't sure if it would upset the readings ,or warnings ,,

Been using it in various guises for 25 years.
Brillant for route planning shame there isn't an up to date version.
The boss has a small laptop on her knees when we are driving, often satnag says turn right and she says you don't want to go down there.

Envy you, my time will come, counting down 5 months 'till I retire. Plan to take ferry to Bilbao and see from there, can't wait!

But once you retire you realise you have not got long left to enjoy yourself. 😭

Anyone who likes 35°c and eats and drinks whatever, without putting on weight... isn't in any shape or form a human species....
If there is justification for a DNA test...then the person in question should present themselves for a test asap...🤭🤔
Just for the record Martin, I'm 3kg lighter than before we went away.

Looks like you had a good trip...🇪🇦😃🇪🇺

I didn't know chips with everything was a healthy diet. Last curry we had in Tavira all the locals had chips with their curry as bad as the Irish they have chips with their Chinese.
