Getting out of here today place is rammed, about 4/5 spaces left at 10pm last night, vans were still driving in to try and find a space at 2am. You can go off the Spanish at times.

Had same one night in August Lenny, had to stand between my van and the next while arguing with a Spanish lady trying to guide her husband back into the space between us and a neighbouring van, a campervan would have struggled it was so narrow. She got the message and stormed off muttering loudly with a lot of head shaking.

Left my garage door open kept them just about far enough away.

Then going up the road to Santillana del mar to have a look at the Roman ruins may come back here for the night.

Just been to the airport to drop our daughters off, roads are quiet, got home not a parking space to found had to park in our neighbours spot, glad we never took the camper. Bob.

Hi Lenny and Mijhan(hope I got the spelling right!) See you found somewhere free to park We found our way to Camping Picos de Europa which is just what we wanted - nothing too grand but nice and relaxing Hope Mijhan doesn’t lose in the Roman ruins

Not sure about Roman ruins in Santillana, lots of 'Roman' architecture which we call Romanesque, but I stand to be corrected.

I was coming to that later, selective hearing cut in when the boss was rabbiting on she was talking about another town this one is just a pretty small town.

Stopped at a bar for a drink, now for some one who always moans about most drinks being too big and she only needs a small one. Oh boy did I get some ear ache over her cider being too small.

To keep the peace I bought her a bottle in a shop.

Now this was interesting, chap in the street doing portraits with a modified old plate camera. Instead of using a plate he was taking an image straight onto standard bromide (photo paper) and inside the box he had too small trays one of developer and one of fixer so he develpoed the photo inside the box then washed it in a small bucket. This resulted in a negative image which he mounted in front of the camera and changed the lens then photographed the negative image and then developed it resulting in a positive image.
If you wanted your potrait he was just asking for donations.

Nar, they stop working when you dunk them in the developer.

A waterproof Android phone would be more sensible.

And dinner tonight Hake with Spanish omlet, found ½ tin of tomatos that had been in the fridge a week so added some chilli flakes for a bit of flavour.

In case you haven't seen the weather you are getting heavy rain all around the north ,middle, west & east tomorrow +Portugal .Effects from 'Leslie' I think it is . Only places without any were here & inland , Almeria up into Alicante province & possibly up to Valencia.
The rest showed as inundated . Along the Algarve & into spain up to Almeria also winds around 100kph + 80-100mm rain.

No, that one is €10 just a car park in the town. This one is only a couple of hundred yards up the road and lovely views & free. Spotted it driving by, about 20 vans here now only a few when we came in, it is in Park4night.
