Lenny's Heading for Portugal - Maybe

I’m on a aire at Briviesca @Lenny HB and moving on to Salamanca tomorrow for a few days to have a look around the place as it looks interesting....(y)

FLT don't do peage :ROFLMAO:
There are some places where even FLT's need to swallow their pride and do the sensible thing. Going over the border to Spain is one of them where a few €'s would be well spent. :D

Changed your plan then? I thought you were going along the top then down through Portugal.

We nearly diverted to Vitoria to say hello but it was a bit too much of a detour, good job we didn't as you have done a runner.

I was always going across Spain into Portugal as I’m going to stay at a little camperstop near Obidos...

You’ll catch up sooner or later, then you can sample my lovely wine..:D

Watch out for Brit motorcyclists this time when you are charging down the single track road. ;)

Last time went that way we ended up on the Autoroute by accident as only a few Euro carried on.
Seen the reports of the coast road being bad assumed it was due to hills and tight bends. Found out now it's traffic and no end of traffic lights roundabouts and 30kph limits, goads are fine.
You will be pleased to know won't make the same mistake twice.:)

Stuffed had to retire to the van for a rest.

Wondered what going on van after van arriving place is stuffed, over 50 vans in now and still coming in. Just found out it's a public holiday tomorrow.

It was ok around Bayonne/biarritz the day before when I came over Lenny....

Yea, bank holiday.... going to have to do housework and laundry tomorrow now and go in to see Salamanca Saturday on the bus...

Sorry Sir, I deserted my post for a short while.
No cloth on the table but posh glasses and herbs (or something green) sprinkled round the plate so not 'bargain basement'.
€45.

Richard.
There was a cloth it was brown :)

Travelling west along the top of Spain, from memory, once you get past Bilbao the motorways are free and it is an impressive road worth driving just to experience it. :)
