@jumartoo that looks lovely, so nice in the different shades bet @Anthea M will love it. @Jaws has kindly bought lots of wool for the crocheting ladies all different colours so if any one has any projects on let us know. @movan Joy will be passing on the rest to different charities.
I’ve had a lovely evening with @snailtrailer going over the flowers I’m aiming to do for my festival shawl,
So nice to see all the different things getting made.
I’ve got a few more Poppy’s done but will add them on when I have done some more .
Yes I do Carol!!!

Amanda is very happy with her flowers at the moment she is content playing and placing them and making patterns out if them she has made the letter A which she then said I can make Amanda with them mom, think she will need a few flowers for that. While she isi content playing with them I'll start showing her pics of things she can do with them and give her some ideas thankyou for doing them for her its helping taking her mind of things for that I am grateful x

Judith its beautiful what did you do to join them together x
Kate

Kate, I've sewn them together. Bit difficult to hide the sewing because of them being different coloured squares so can't use the same colour wool but I've mostly managed. It's not going to be up for inspection!!

I thought sewing them together would be best for mine when I get enough squares the few squares I've done arn't the same size havnt mastered the tension yet, plus different thickness of wool doesn't help. I'm enjoying doing somthing other than poppies though lol

You could do a 'Kaffe Fassett' quilt like this one

I hope you meant it as funny. If not sorry for my "funny".
I think that's an intentionally meant different sized squares !!! Mine would just be different side 6 inch squares!

I saw some Chenile wool in a charity shop yesterday and couldn’t decide wether to buy it or not as it was £8.99 but now am wishing I had:doh:
There were 9 balls in the pack so on reflection it wasn’t really expensive.

Ok. Challenge. Please will all those crafty people give me advice on the following.

The following pictures are firstly me in my clown patch pants as I call them .. they are elasticated at the bottom. I had the devil's own job trying to take a timed selfie .. I kept missing me and then the phone kept falling off the bonnet... :(

Anyway ... I can't sew; I will be doing it by hand as no machine ... but want to get my brain working in a 'craft person' way.. They keep splitting .. fat backside.. I want to make them into a pair of VERY basic dungarees for my little grandaughter and enjoy it in the process. Am I best completely unpicking them and then cutting pieces out as per my drawing and hemming edges and sewing together. . . . OR am I missing something ? Is there an easier way than unpicking and poss using legs as legs or something. . Advice appreciated. Thank you.

@movan Seeing as you don't have a big arse, can you keep the body, chop off some of the leg and use the leg fabric to make bib and braces?

Mmmm good idea. Will look at that tonight ... there might be an issue in the body is baggy Moroccan type so quite big ... but you may have hit on something. TY. :)

You can always take in, say, an inch on each seam. Still easier than starting from scratch without a pattern.
