It was a statement that only a woman could make.

I remember hearing my wife and mother-in-law cackling with laughter some years ago in my shed. When I went to investigate, I found that they were counting my screwdrivers......I only had 47 at the time and was genuinely puzzled why they thought that excessive..........it’s a Mars/Venus thing, I guess. But who would change that? Vive la difference!

You only have 47 screwdrivers - what's wrong with you? ?

I forgot to mention my DeWalt Radial Arm Saw Powershop, tis a beast & was the first DeWalt tool I bought.
There's also an air saw (see below).
A tyre bead knocker, a gazillions screwdrivers, my full sized Tool chest on wheels (my pride & joy), an oil sump pump, a professional interior car valeting machine, a couple of vacuum cleaners, professional brake pipe flaring tool & a full professional brake wind back kit.

Oh I'm on a roll now & running about clutching my wee tinkle with excitement, used to be women that got me going, so perhaps the tool situation is a substitute?

Similar to my Radial Arm saw.

Is this thread cheaper than Dignitas? What would happen if Mrsambulancekidd read this post?

The answer to all things is as follows

n + 1

Whereby in this example n represents the current number of drills owned

But can easily be replaced by any of the following :-
Bicycles
Motorcycles
Motor vehicles
Or anything else that the you want
Most certainly applies to guitars.

The old Green and Orange De-walt was good stuff, the European equivalent was Elu, After Black & Decker bought Dewalt and changed the colour to yellow the standard of their tooling was rubbish, plastic gears instead of metal etc.
I still have an Elu 12v drill must be 30+ years old works perfectly just have to change the batteries every few years, Makita is also excellent very good.

I still use my Elu slide chop saw of similar vintage.

I even bought a secound hand one for spares recently ?

Depends on how much energy he has left afterwards. ;)

Missed the comma after priority!

Who’d have thought that a missing comma could mean the difference between a close coupling and DIY. ? And there are those that say punctuation doesn't matter!

I havn't a clue what the heck you are all talking about... I only know a hammer and a nail. :(

Way more than is required; my wife’s favourite, and only I might add, ‘tool’ is No More Nails. She uses it like a weapon to motivate me to do any DIY she thinks needs doing. ?

Thanks to everyone who chuckled at this notice,
I got the picture off the bar wall at a pub in the Forest of Dean, ( Perhaps better not say which one) who let us overnite in the car park.
Very much looking forward to going there again and helping them reduce their beer stocks!

My first proper cordless gun was an ELU 12v & it was bloody bomb proof, I eventually gave it to SIL who promptly tried to drill into a wall without hammer action & burned the poor thing out in less that 5 mins! :swear::swear: 'kin idiot.
All bar one of my current Dewalt guns have the metal gearing & chuck, they're up in the professional range & well worth that few quid extra.
My DC988 the older gun in my pic was bought around 2003 & has never missed a beat, its still a mighty powerful gun.

Going back to the thread title; my wife was driving as we stopped at the traffic lights, she noticed a white police van with flashing blue lights behind us. I suggested we carefully moved over to allow them pass. They did not overtake, on green she carried on, the van dived in front if us siren blaring and stopped. She started to drive around them when a WPC got out and flagged us down. A rather young male PC came up and asked why my wife had not stopped, coluld she not see the blue lights? My wife's reply " Well I knew I was not doing anything wrong so did not think you wanted me", "Why do you think we had our blue lights on?" He asked. " Oh, thought you had left them on from the last time you used them". As I was now in hysterics the WPC gently led me to one side while my wife and the PC had a chat. Turned out she had left the fog lights on in town. Luckily it only resulted in a 'producer' so all well. I can still see that cops face.
