I'm literally crying, so sad to see this

Because it's a hundred grands worth of things that can go wrong.

Sorry Chas.......... I think that is a silly outlook to take.... :frowny:

If you have worked hard all your life and can afford and want something that to some is expensive..

Go for it... (y)

You could buy one of the cheapest cars/motorbikes/pushbikes etc on the market and still have problems..

A motorhome is somewhere to doss when touring around, the places you go to are the thing , what the van is like is neither here nor there as long as the bed is comfortable.

Well that proves my point better than I could.

Some of us prefer a bit of luxury in our MH, especially when away for months chaser, ie, home from home.

By buying older but still quality, we've managed to do it without spending what we can't afford, and avoided getting into debt.

Cheers,

Jock. :)

I would have agreed with you when I was 18! Now that I’m somewhat older I still enjoy touring but I’m lucky enough to be able to afford to do it in style and comfort 😊

Each to their own I guess.

Let’s see my choice.
Drive a pile of cheap shite and have money in the bank not earning much or drive a decent comfortable van and have a bit less money in the bank that’s not earning much🤔🤔🤔

Tough one!!

Its only tied up money when in the van. When its sold you get a price and an amount back. The cost is the difference. So spending £150000 on a van is not spent. When sold that is the money spent

Not a pile of shit mate wouldn't swop your palace for it.

Just glad that after all the heartache Nikki and Paul that you are out and about again. That has got to mean we will all see those great smiles from the two of you at various get togethers soon. Your support for Sue has been exemplary, not for the first time have you supported a funster in need (Chester 2021), and I have no doubt you will be helping someone else in an hour of need very soon. If you carry on at this rate you will be getting a special funster status, well I think so anyway.

Is it not time this thread got back on track ?

It`s not a Mine is bigger than yours... mine was dearer than yours thread..

It`s a sad and interesting story of Paul`s miss-hap and his rise from the ashes sort of thing...

And has been an interesting thread on how things have progressed from that dreadful day..

To what hopefully has and will turn out to be a happy ending...

If you want a thread about how you have been ripped off or waisted your money or got more money than sense as some are advocating..

Start your own thread.....

But it's not about this , it's an extension of the Simon-Alan Kerr thread.

Well carry on the chit - chat on that thread, then..

Up till the slagging of, the thread was interesting...(y)
