IAN and HELGA,,ONWARDS and UPWARDS!!

that would mean tam that I’d have to do the bits mate, and I’ve got no tools or facilities for it, or the money to pay someone to do it!

but I wouldput it on there if the buyer would do it for-slightly less money tam,, it wouldn’t hurt to put it on as many places aa possible,,, more chance of selling her. !! Cheers I will be in touch when I get keys to flat! Xx. And the price of£11,000 Ono would only apply to funsters!
I'm pretty sure if we put plenty pics and information up and showed the parts needing attention and stated you'd accept 14k for the buyer to repair themselves it would sell. You've kept helga in good nick and she's had what she's needed doing.
They hold their value well as those are the best models from mid 90's to mid 2000's , it's also a merc and auto ...they dont come up that often.

11k is an absolute steal

when you put it like that,, I’m thinking your right!! Cheers tam,,

Good man

Like I said I'm more than happy when you have the flat and ready to sell to do the add for you etc ...then you just need to let any potential punter view it.

It will help you out with your furniture and self build etc.

yes tam,, that it will ! Merry Christmas mate, hope the 3 of you are ok! Xx

ianthebuilder no need to cut your throat and bleed, just because it needs a couple of small repairs. £15k really is a reasonable price and below that, you are giving money away

Ian all it needs is what you will do anyway, a bloody good clean inside and out when Helga is empty will push up the value. A day's graft and it can add a grand to the value. Better value than a day slinging bricks. You might be feeling down at the moment mate, and who can blame you, but you need the cash for your future plans

Anyone looking for a decent hymer based on the merc base and in great mechanical order will be delighted with Helga. Those minor repairs are only worth a couple of hundred quid at most and she is still fully fully functional without them being done

Ian, when it is time to equip your kitchen start off by looking in your local charity shops if you don't mind second hand stuff. I help out in one and we get some really nice china and cutlery donated.... and its sold so cheaply....

A couple of years ago I was looking for an A class (bought my Mobilvetta (y) ). Saw a Hymer like yours, failed MOT, needed at least 2k on chassis welding - seller had bought as was but decided he didn't want to do the work ...... he advertised it 2k below the price of a good one. He sold it within 24 hours.
You only have one chance of getting a reasonable price - Tam knows values - trust him(y)

Good morning,,

bloody freezing here this morning!

working inside today though, so that’s good, and I’m sure it will warm up later,,, working for a funster this week, I will post pics and updates tonight,, Have a great day, drive carefully! Xxxx.

To be honest it’s the safest really. Now when driving down the road you will have clear vision out of your windows. Smart move I think.

I can’t quite put my finger on it, but I have to say,, since the benefactor gave Jim that £500 and Jim started the donation thread, my brain has been extremely positive!! I’m feeling better in myself, looking forward to things, not dwelling on the negative, and Believing the future is rosy!!

isn’t it amazing how things change, when you realise your not on your own!! Wicked!!

when thread is closed I will say a proper thank you! Xx

I bought a couple of those bags of silica that absorb condensation the other day. They seem to work well absorbing the damp and when full 3 minutes in a microwave and they are ready to go again. just chuck them on the dashboard and clear windows in the morning

Earn a fortune here in Cornwall, new build buyers in Whitemoor near Roche here in Cornwall woken in the night by huge crashes and ground shaking thumps.
Huge amounts of Render crashing to the ground, not just a couple of square feet, oh no! about 2/3s of the front of the house and 95% of the rear elevation, the gable end about the same as the front.

And that's just 1 house there are a coupe more in the same complex.

Ian if you need a cooker I have a freestanding one that was in the flat I bought but I’ve put in a new kitchen with built in cooker so it’s surplus to requirements would say it’s only about a year old and in great condition yours if you need it

thanks for that nobby, but I don’t know what’s in flat yet! I will let you know,, xx

Was thinking about you today Ian, as I was trying to find some space in my garage, I have so many tools, scaffold tower, mixer, buckets, timber etc. I thought, I hope Ian new flat has a garage in a separate block or something, cos he is gonna need one maybe two, for all his stuff.
So fingers crossed you have one available to keep stuff dry and stored between jobs.
